Requested move[edit]

This request for a badly formatted request as it asked for a non-existent page to be moved and so I've removed it. If, as I suspect, you were trying to move your new article (User:C-ritah/ "People of Color" Page) to main space then a requested move is the wrong process anyway. According to Wikipedia:Requested moves#Processes beyond the scope of this page you should instead add {{subst:AFC submission/submit}} to the top of the article and allow the Articles for creation process to take place. The article "People of color" page has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

totally non encyclopedic POV essay....see almost every section of WP:NOT for the many and various reasons this should be deleted

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WuhWuzDat 20:18, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, "People of color" page[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, "People of color" page. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Person of color. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Person of color - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 22:57, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

People of Color[edit]

Hello! Welcome to Wikipedia. Your recent article "People of Color" Page has been deleted under speedy deletion criteria A10. Please understand that this is not a commentary on your efforts or the time you have put into it, but merely that we already have an article about this topic. You are welcome to edit and contribute to People of Color. We appreciate the time you have but into the article, and so I have moved the article content to User:C-ritah/ "People of Color" Page so you can merge the material with the existing article at your leisure. You might find it a good idea to post something on the talk pager of the existing article, to describe what you want to add, and to see what others think. It does seem to be a particularly American problem. Attitudes over here (with a very small number of noisy exceptions...) can be typified by a kid who was describing to me the other kid who had knocked him over. After some thought, he came up with, "You know, sir - him what's on the crutches!" At that time, we only had one kid on crutches, who also happened to be the only black kid in the school. Nonsense question on Talk:Negative number[edit]

Please do not use article talk pages for hoaxing, trolling or general fooling around. That's not their purpose. See WP:TALK. As it is now clear that you were never serious about your question, I have deleted your section Talk:Negative number#Has a "troll" confused me. Hans Adler 14:53, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

*Discussion* about future Animated Avatars and Safety guidelines[edit]

These are my "early" ideas about Avatars (in Virtual Space) This is a slightly-humorus guideline for young females unexperienced with Avatars.

Avatar Sex:

When you finally get around to "animating" your Avatar (which may be like an interactive (very high speed) SIM avatar) using your own voice to animate the avatar, prepare for the same games in the Virtual World that people play in the non-virtual world.

When you engage in Avatar sex (and a few of you will) be prepared for the Virtual Vrus that your Avatar may contact, which will probably make your Avatar mis-behave, or act like it is sick (or uninterested in anything...like moving, or sex).

When you hang out in Avater Lounges and Cafes, be careful of sharing ideas with other people...sometimes...we seek guidance...not mental drains from "leeches" or "blood-sucking-ticks."

...and, I will tell you other things to expect...when you chill in an Avatar lounge, expect attention from a few guys...just don't get upset when a gang of bitchy chicks surround you...you know how butchy people can destroy a strsight chicks vibe (mood)...talk about hearing echos...also, don't assume you know what gender or race the real animator is...remember...if you find yourself escaping to VR more and more...in the non-virtual world, there are planes, trains, buses, and automobiles...and camera phones!

Remember safety first. It may be wise to follow VR site guidelines...watch out for stalkers...which I'm told currently stalk chat rooms today.

I have hope that Avatar romance will and can happen...in fact, I'm thinking of creating a romance novel (or E.bok) about two different people, who fall in love with each other in Virtual Reality...yes, they love each others Avatar bodies. The girl will have "Avatar" verses "real body" issues. The guy will wonder why he keeps logging on. Since I believe Love is possible, (and dream of people supporting it) I'll have to figure out Love and its real value.

Don't let the future be built by Idiots!
