Hi,
I think your incorporation of the Vision section to the Monarch butterfly article is very informative and I agree that the edit is relevant to the topic! I would've liked to hear more specifics about how true color vision plays a role in the monarch butterfly's other behaviors that you mentioned (seeking nectar, choosing a mate, finding milkweed to lay eggs on). This paragraph sounded almost incomplete. As for the second paragraph of your edit, I think more details on the mechanisms of color and shape association would've been helpful in my understanding of this process, if such details are available. Overall, I think the sources you used are solid; however, perhaps you could take more from them? A minor grammatical error I noticed was "can easily learn to associate color, and to a lesser extent shape, with sugary food rewards"; I would change the placement of the commas to "learn to associate color and, to a lesser extent, shape with sugary food rewards"... I would also change the comma in your last sentence to a semicolon followed by "however" so that it reads: "There may also be a difference between male and female butterflies from other species in terms of the ability to learn certain colors; however, there is no difference between the sexes for monarch butterflies." I think this better articulates the comparison you made. Other than this, I think you were able to add some very valuable information and definitely think you have a lot to work with! Great work! :)
