Bwiki, goddag. Thanks for doing the copy edit on the Sammy Sieger article. I have been having a hardest time with the author, Robert Sieger, User:Rms125a@hotmail.com, Sammy's grandson, trying to get to him READ, but it is like banging my head against the wall. If you scroll through the changes to the Sammy Sieger, you'll see an example. I added 96.7% the boxing info. Also if you look at Robert's talk page, I have tried and tried, while other contributors just want him banned. Hope to see you around these parts some more.

Discovery of the DNA Double Helix navigation box[edit]

I just want to warn you that some editors do not like the Discovery of the DNA Double Helix navigation box. I admit that it is sort of ugly. I have no graphic design skill. If you have any suggestions for making a nicer looking navigation box, please help save it from the deletionists. Thank you for warning me about some editors not liking the Discovery of the DNA Double Helix navigation box. I inserted it on the Rosalind Franklin page because it was the only one of the six pages linked to in the box that didn't feature the box itself. (On the Linus Pauling page, the box is not at the top of the page because he is chiefly known for other things, but it is still there, in the section on DNA.) Sorry to say, I don't have the graphic skill to make the box look nicer and maybe avoid it getting deleted. (By the way, I suspect some editors dislike this box not so much because of functionality or graphic-design concerns as because they disagree about who deserves mention and who doesn't in connection with the discovery of the double-helix structure.) Quotation marks don't always enclose other punctuation[edit]

Hi, I agree with all the corrections you made in this edit to the article on Functionalism versus intentionalism, except the last one. You say in the edit summary that "quotation marks always enclose punctuation," but the section on quotation marks within the Manual of Style says this:

When punctuating quoted passages, include the punctuation mark inside the quotation marks only if the sense of the punctuation mark is part of the quotation ("logical" quotations).

The section contains a number of examples, the first one being this:

Arthur said the situation was "deplorable". (The full stop [period] is not part of the quotation.)

I believe it follows that the full stop following the expression "Prophecy Speech" should not be enclosed in the quotation marks because the full stop is not part of the expression that is being quoted.

Thank you for the advice regarding quotation marks and punctuation. You are correct according to the Wikipedia standard; however, I made the edit before reading the Manual of Style. Thanks to Strunk and White, I was under the impression that quotation marks must always enclose punctuation. I apologize for not fixing my edit. Thanks again for bringing it to my attention.
