A tag has been placed on Mercer village, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. The article Mercer Village has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet GNG. Tagged for notability since 2012. Hyper-local coverage says "With six restaurants, a bookstore and a hair salon open in Mercer Village, it’s a main hub for students and people living in Macon." A group of eight businesses is far from a regional mall or other significant shopping venue. Was CSDed once, then recreated two months later by a SPA.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
