Speedy deletion of "Oak Knoll School"[edit]

A page you created, Oak Knoll School, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it has no content, other than external links, categories, "see also" sections, rephrasing of the title, and/or chat-like comments.

Please do not remove the article tags until the issue are corrected. ttonyb1 (talk) 04:53, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I will ask once again, please do not remove the article tags until the issues are corrected. ttonyb1 (talk) 00:26, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You may not understand that by setting the tags we are trying to help you improve the article. Please do not remove them until the issues are resolved. ttonyb1 (talk) 02:01, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm so sorry. I didn't view my messages until now. Is there any way I can apologize? Bubba Chilukuri (talk) 01:09, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, apology noted, accepted, and appreciated. BTW-I also removed the section Jwy removed. From a Wikipedia POV it is not a notable event and should not be included. Good luck with the article. ttonyb1 (talk) 01:49, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Gee, you're a nice guy. Thanks. No offense, you're a cool guy and all, but how is my John Fuller part of my article not acceptable? Bubba Chilukuri (talk) 01:52, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the compliment. Your question did not offend me, actually I am glad to help out. Take a look at WP:NOTSCANDAL. The reference to the teacher is a bit of a scandal and is not really encyclopedic in nature. The issues were not really noteworthy in nature and imagine if you were the person named in the article. In addition, think of it this way, would someone reading the article really benefit from the information presented? My guess is probably not. Good luck with the article! ttonyb1 (talk) 04:01, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Dude, you gotta help me. A guy named W. Flake is going to delete my page! What do I do? And also, if it's Scandal mongering, why isn't Death of Michelle Mazzei deleted?Bubba Chilukuri (talk) 02:26, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
First of all, let's all take a deep breath. I feel better. 8-) Remember, Wikipedia is a cooperative venture. W.Flake is not doing anything out of the ordinary, nor is he trying to delete your article. He has only pointed out that the article may not meet the requirements of Wikipedia and has asked for help in determining if it does or not. Try stepping back and looking at the comments in the AfD with an independent eye. Try to review the comments from the point of can I improve the article to remove the concerns voiced in the AfD. Remember make the article as encyclopedic as possible. Your question concerning the the other section is exactly how you need to look at the entire article - maybe it does need to be deleted to become more encyclopedic. Again, good luck and don't get discouraged, even if the the article gets deleted. ttonyb1 (talk) 03:25, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, man. You're reassuring.Bubba Chilukuri (talk) 00:12, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An article you created maybe deleted soon: Tools which can help you[edit]

The article you created, Oak_Knoll_School_(K-5) maybe deleted from Wikipedia.

There is an ongoing debate about whether your article should be deleted here:

The faster your respond, the better chance the article you created can be saved. This is because deletion debates only stay open for a few days, and the first comments are usually the most important.

There are several tools and other editors who can help you keep the page from being deleted forever:

  1. You can list the page up for deletion on Article Rescue Squadron. If you need help listing your page, add a comment on the Article Rescue Squadron talk page.
  2. You can request a mentor to help explain to you all of the complex rules that editors use to get a page deleted, here: Wikipedia:Adopt-a-User. But don't wait for a mentor to respond on the deletion page.
  3. When try to delete a page, veteran editors love to use a lot of rule acronyms. Don't let these acronyms intimidate you.
Here is a list of your own acronyms you can use yourself: WP:Deletion debate acronyms which may support the page you created being kept.
Acronyms in deletion debates are sometimes incorrectly used, or ignore rules or exceptions.
  4. You can merge the article into a larger or better established article on the same topic.

If your page is deleted, you still have many options available. Good luck! travb (talk) 09:43, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Email on userpage[edit]

Hi, I removed your email from your userpage, since a spam spider could crawl the page and pick it up, signing you up for all sorts of junk. If a user wants to email you, they can use the "email this user" function. If you want to leave it there, that's up to you, I just wanted to try and prevent you from getting a deluge of spam. Cheers, --Terrillja talk 03:36, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
