Someone has falsely claimed that I have used Wikipedia for political advertising[edit]

Here are his direct comments:

Please stop adding what amount to campaign ads for Ron Paul in articles like Iraq War. I have removed your additions today. Georgewilliamherbert 18:32, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Look, I'm sorry, but the Ron Paul stuff is not appropriate in the article. Another administrator has just reverted it back out again after you re-added it today.
In the scope of the overall article, and the course of the war and the buildup to the war, Ron Paul's actual individual actions and contributions are not notable enough to mention. In terms of his presidential campaign, adding Ron's contribution to major causes to unrelated Wikipedia articles when we don't already make appropriate mention of other candidates' actions is political advertising.
We don't have the space, nor would it be morally appropriate, for us to allow every candidate to insert a position statement into every issue article related to their campaigns. This is an encyclopedia.
The place for this type of material is on the Ron Paul article itself, where I believe it's already mentioned. Please leave it there. Thank you. Georgewilliamherbert 19:01, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately this admin has grossly abused his admin rights by blanketly deleting my messages as he has done to others in the past. There is an anti-war section in the article on "Iraq War." The fact the Ron Paul and 6 others in the Republican Party led an anti-war movement in Congress is extremely significant. Someone who claims it is not is not being honest and must be politically motivated themselves. What could be more important than our own Congressman discussing the issue at a Congressional session. To move this is irrational and unwarranted.

RFA nomination[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and I hope you stick around and enjoy yourself here, but adminship is not for new users. Typical admin candidates have at least 6 months of experience and a couple thousand edits. Many have considerably more of both. Without more time and at least 1000 edits, there is absolutely no way you could be promoted to admin. Sorry, but you just don't have the experience needed for the community to have learnt to trust you. But stick around and you may someday. Phgao 15:20, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent RfA[edit]

I'm sorry, but I've closed your Request for adminship prematurely. Simply put, you've only got 40 edits on Wikipedia; while edit count isn't the only determining factor, and numerous people have their own personal standards that they judge RfA candidates by, there was no chance that the RfA was going to pass.

I'm sorry about this, and hope you don't take it personally. If you continue to contribute to the project in a positive fashion, I'm confident that you could possibly run a successful RfA in the future. You may want to consider submitting yourself to Wikipedia:Editor review for feedback on where to get some good experience, and when you're ready for RfA again, there's a great Wikipedia:Admin coaching program for you to use, as well as a guide to requests for adminship.

If you have any other questions about becoming an administrator, please don't hesitate to ask me. Good luck! EVula // talk // // 17:38, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sure with more experiance, you'll be ready. Good luck.--U.S.A. (talk contribs) 17:43, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
