Lists of horror films

Hi. I see you've removed category 2014 films from List of horror films of 2014. I can see the sense of that as there are no other genre lists at that top level, just the genre categories. I will be going through the lists for other years with systematic changes over the next day or so. Would you like me to remove the corresponding year categories at the same time? --Mirokado (talk) 01:48, 4 January 2016 (UTC)

Yes! BOVINEBOY2008 01:48, 4 January 2016 (UTC)
OK I will do that with the other changes. --Mirokado (talk) 01:49, 4 January 2016 (UTC)

Moving pages

Hi. I think your move here was OK, but there was an archive that you didn't move, and for some reason you removed the Talk header that had a link to the archive. I fixed it. In the future please move archives if you move a page. Thanks! Jytdog (talk) 04:08, 26 January 2016 (UTC)

Addition of YYYY films cats for upcoming films

Just an FYI for you, an edit such as this one that you made, adding Category:2017 films to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is no longer necessary for this or other upcoming films, as {{Film date}} has now been updated to include both Category:Upcoming films and Category:YYYY films for all upcoming film articles that use this template. See Template talk:Film date for more info. Manually adding the cat is redundant and unnecessary, and actually doesn't do anything since it is superseded by its inclusion from Film date. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:38, 7 March 2016 (UTC)

Removal of the about template

I was curious, why did you remove the about template at the top of Sidney Hall (film)? Since the name matches a famous individual, wouldn't that inclusion be necessary? DARTHBOTTO talkcont 00:32, 8 May 2016 (UTC)

  • It is per WP:NAMB and WP:PRECISION. The article name "Sidney Hall (film)" is clearly talking about the film and not the person, and also a person should not accidentally end up there if they are looking for the person. On the other hand, "Sidney Hall" as an article name could be referring to both, so the hat is necessary there. BOVINEBOY2008 13:15, 8 May 2016 (UTC)
Oh, that makes sense, with the designation. DARTHBOTTO talkcont 04:08, 9 May 2016 (UTC)

Jumbulingam 3D

Looks like the page of Jumbulingam 3D has been contested as a prod. Wgolf (talk) 22:30, 22 May 2016 (UTC)

Infobox changes

Hello! I noticed you are changing some {{Infobox film}} to {{Infobox television}}. When you do this, can you please check that the parameters are still valid? Most commonly |name= needs to be changed to |show_name=. Otherwise the pages end up in Category:Pages using infobox television with unknown parameters. I am able to change most easily with AWB, but correcting the problem at the start would be helpful if you are able to. Thank you! EvergreenFir (talk) Please {{re}} 06:22, 28 May 2016 (UTC)

If you're going to create a disambiguation page, could you please go ahead and do and sort out any incoming links? There's no point having the more ambiguous title redirect to a less ambiguous one. Josh Milburn (talk) 15:40, 26 June 2016 (UTC)

Meet Me in the Ironbound

To answer your first question, The only source I have is the article I used to create the page. As for their notability, I figured since there were groups that did honor the film, it gave it some notability. Also the films educational value, to show a side of Newark that many outsiders don't know about.Vincelord (talk) 15:20, 7 July 2016 (UTC)

A Conspiracy of Faith (2016)

Can you create a entry level article page and add details if you are interested. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.96.162.153 (talk) 17:15, 24 July 2016 (UTC)

A recently announced film that has finished production

So, the other day, it was announced that Oh Lucy! (2014 film) has been adapted into a feature length film, starring Josh Hartnett and executive produced by Will Ferrell. While it lists key cast and crew members... there's really only one original reference available. Considering it's filled with A-listers, but brand new and ignorant to the public eye, would you say that it's too early to put up an article? DARTHBOTTO talkcont 04:54, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
