A chara[edit]

Firstly welcome to wikipedia, I hope you enjoy your stay and can make it a productive one. Secondly, I know your account is new but you need to chill out with the baseless accusations of other editors - your accusation that ONiH is "anti-Irish" springs to mind. You are not doing yourself any favours or winning any friends by acting in this manner. Now if you need any help, guidance or assistance please do not hesitate to contact me on my talk page. slan go foil. Vintagekits 09:57, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Listen man, the last thing ONiH is is a bigot - and I would advise that you strike through that comment before you get blocked. ONiH has contributed more to article on Irish republicanism than anyone else - why not try and make a meaningful contribution to Wikipedia:WikiProject Irish Republicanism and then you might be in a position to comment on others - unlike then I advised that you retract your (wide of the mark) accusations. slán.--Vintagekits 08:45, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Personal attacks[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, we remind you not to attack other editors, as you did here: User talk:Vintagekits. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

Ok - I see you're back again attacking other editors and making baseless accusations. [1] Keep it up and you'll be blocked for your troubles. Slán go fóill arís - Alison 14:26, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your accusations were not warranted or supported by showing edits that would backup your point. Accusations that have show no basis for their claims can be interpreted as attacking another editor. MrMacMan Talk 05:44, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Also Alison has just responded to you herself, here. MrMacMan Talk 06:13, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"The fact that you and One Night In Hackney keep bringing up irrelevant information proves how illogical you are" This is your last warning. WP:NPA is non-negotiable. Since you seem to be more interested in name calling and accusing than discussing, you will be blocked for any other insult to any other user. --Fire Star 火星 20:58, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And again today[edit]

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for a period of 24 hours as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. - Alison 18:55, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

John Edwards[edit]

Please stop taking him out of the category of "University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill alumni." You have done it multiple times. How is he not noted for that? He was hired to work at their Center on Poverty for just that reason. That's where he went to law school and he became the most successful lawyer in the state (and that's the best law school in the state). George W. Bush's page says both "Harvard Business School alumni" and "Yale University alumni". I have restored the UNC alumni category and added one for NC State University, where Edwards attended undergrad. He's probably their most famous alumni. So, please stop this.--Gloriamarie 20:00, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request denied[edit]

Your language was in direct violation of Wikipedia policy and will no longer be tolerated. I see no need for an apology to you. You may believe your behaviour is reasonable, but I (and obviously others) find otherwise. My warning stands, and I'll be watching your activities when your current block expires. --Fire Star 火星 04:47, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What did it for me, and what I warned you for, was the statement: "proves how illogical you are". You could say that their statements were illogical, but not that they were illogical. The difference is one is a comment on content, the other a comment on the editor. The Wikipedia community would destroy itself in short order if personal comment of that nature was allowed, which is why we enforce WP:No personal attacks so zealously. What I said wasn't a comment on your position or you, but on your interactions with other users. If someone were to directly insult you, personally, they'd get the same warning from me. Regards, --Fire Star 火星 00:01, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Also, see Wikipedia:Remove personal attacks, which I support. --Fire Star 火星 00:09, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have posted a comment regarding your behaviour here - Alison 00:10, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

You've got some serious attitude problems and it has become clear that your negative aspects outway any possible positive aspects you may have. -- John Reaves (talk) 05:38, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
