Speedy deletion of TikiTown Studios[edit]

A tag has been placed on TikiTown Studios, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Fraud talk to me 22:39, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of SonicCity[edit]

A tag has been placed on SonicCity requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

This website doesn't meet the notability criteria for websites. Shapiros10 WuzHere  22:51, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not every music-promoting website is notable. And you say that "when it is finished", you should move it to userspace and recreate when it's finished. Once again, a website under construction is not notable. Shapiros10 WuzHere  23:05, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shapiros10, I would appreciate some time to finish the site. Clearly you have taken issue with me as a user considering the fact that you have already taken notice with two of my contributions. Given the fact that it is my first day as a wikipedia editor, I would ask for a little more time and understanding, rather than unrelenting supervision. Bmorris09 (talk) 23:09, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, I apologize if I have offended you, not realizing that this is your first day. This has nothing to do with you as a user. I am trying to content on content, not creator. Seeing th you are hurt, I want to apologize and give you a WikiCake!
I don't think I'll pursue matters with SonicCity anymore. Sorry, and I hope that you'll deal with better editors than me :(. Shapiros10 WuzHere  23:16, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Shapiros10, I appreciate your understanding and hop that there are no hard feelings as well. Regards, Bmorris09 (talk) 23:17, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I hope you don't mind me hanging around and giving you tips, but when starting a new section, it is common practice to use a level 2 heading, like this :==Blah Blah Blah==. Once again,if you don't want to receive help from me, let me know, and I will back off. Shapiros10 WuzHere  23:21, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Right, I knew that that was common practice, but I thought that a Level One heading initially, followed by a Level Two Heading was more aesthetically pleasing. If you think that that assumption is incorrect, feel free to let me know Bmorris09 (talk) 23:29, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, your article got deleted. I'm sorry that your first day as an editor got off to such a rotten start. Shapiros10 WuzHere  23:46, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
a) for what article? b) you can do it yourself! WP:UPLOAD! and c) is it copyrighted? You can't just go around uploading some image you got on google. I tried that when I was new here. Shapiros10 WuzHere  11:09, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
