Speedy deletion declined[edit]

Information icon Hi BlueworldSpeccie. Thank you for your work on patrolling new pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I'm just letting you know that I declined your deletion request for Cultural Beira, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, under criterion G3 because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. Please take a moment to look at the suggested tasks for patrollers, criteria for speedy deletion, and particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion or proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. Thanks!. @Wikicology: Good day. I have a few questions. Why would it not qualify for G3? It seems like obvious vandalism to me. The sources don't have anything to do with the article. (I am not arguing with you. I genuinely have some questions) BlueworldSpeccie (talk) 15:41, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for bringing my attention back to this. The page is an obvious hoax, now tagged for speedy deletion per G3. Its actually not Vandalism but hoax (misinformation). So sorry for my previous notice, I was earlier distracted with irrelevant discussion outside Wikipedia. Wikigyt@lk to M£ 20:56, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Wikicology: Alright I understand. But when I go to the page it says template not found? Why would it do that? BlueworldSpeccie (talk) 22:20, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
use "db-hoax instead of "Db-hoax" or "Db-G3. Tag it like {{db-hoax}}. Wikigyt@lk to M£ 23:57, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ironically, the page was was nominated for deletion on 16 May 2008. The result of the discussion was closed without decision. Wikigyt@lk to M£ 13:42, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
