Request reason:

I was trying to update the coronavirus in Pennsylvania page with the latest data from the state's department of health website when I got blocked for vandalism. All the changes I made were numbers from the official website, I was not trying to disrupt in anyway. I am interested in the data in the current pandemic and I created an account to help the effort of updating the site as soon as new data becomes available. This is my first making an account and using it to edit. In fact, I updated the same page with new data yesterday but I was not logged in so I decided I would make an account today so I can keep track of my contributions. Thank you BloopyBloop (talk) 1:06 pm, Yesterday (UTC−4)

Accept reason:

Despite the name matching a long-term abuse pattern the edits, as at time of blocking, are not conclusive enough, per consensus. Unblocking due to consensus to do so and also I have a soft spot for those who request review of an action in the proper manner. All the best in your edits, N.J.A. | talk 10:27, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@NJA: - would you object to an unblock? PhilKnight (talk) 21:01, 16 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I also don't understand the reason for the block, BloopyBloop's edits appear to be in good faith. Crouch, Swale (talk) 22:54, 16 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Not to pile on, but I too respectfully don't understand the reason for the block. 331dot (talk) 23:25, 16 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It's the username. It looks like something that My Royal Young (talk · contribs) would use. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 00:31, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@NJA: I don't want to pile on either, but this user's edits didn't seem like vandalism, but just uncited. I could be wrong, but I've seen a lot of good faith, but unverified, edits over the Coronavirus in the last few days. Is it possible the name is just a coincidence?
