Presidential Standard of the Russian Federation[edit]

Good afternoon, I would like to discuss with you the official design of the Presidential Standard after you reverted my edit. The official drawing from the Presidential website shows the double headed eagle with dense embroidery whilst the version you reverted to uses the regular Russian Coat of Arms design.

I believe the version you used is not as accurate to the official design and therefore I think we should use File:Standard of the President of the Russian Federation Fixed.svg rather than File:Standart of the President RF.svg

Pictured below is the official drawing from the Presidential website (left) and to the right, an official photo of the Standard.

Hello there! I personally believe that the version with the golden fringe on three sides, top, right & bottom is the correct version to use. It is stated on the website of the President, "The Standard (Flag) of the President of the Russian Federation is a square cloth with three equal horizontal stripes: the uppermost is white, the middle is blue and the bottom is red. In the centre there is a golden version of the State Seal of the Russian Federation. The cloth is gold-fringed." -> link.

The file File:500-600 Witan Gate House. Milton Keynes, UK.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There is no evidence at the source that this image is licensed under a free license. While non-free use is also claimed, the image is clearly replaceable by a free image in principle since anyone could take a photo of the Homebase head office and release it under a free license. The image therefore fails the first non-free content criterion.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
