Why does Versus keep saying he was a waivers add? GrszX 01:23, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Hey I just made another edit and brought in some info about involved companies, etc. Also, I changed location to "bound by" as that's what the official lists use. I'm not sure how close it will be to Washington Place. The Post-Gazette diagram shows that the church will be demolished, however, it appears in many of the renditions of the finished arena, including the one in the infobox. Also, if you come across some free time and it seems interesting, perhaps you'll drop by Talk:Idlewild and Soak Zone and comment at the peer review. Thanks, GrszX 00:27, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

League standings etc.

Since I noticed you signed yourself up for league standings you might want to ask User:Pparazorback about a tool I believe he created last year that will make all the changes in one shot for you. I think it was an excel macro or something so you don't have to make an edit after each game, you run it once and it spits out everything you need after it grabs it from nhl.com or something like that...or maybe you just pasted the standings page into it, I forget. I might be mistaken but I am pretty sure thats what he said he had created last year cause he was doing the updating last year. -Djsasso (talk) 18:15, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Games are numbered, not spelled out, and all items are linked. It's called "continunity." NoseNuggets (talk) 10:15 PM US EDT Oct 22 2008

Take it up with a supervisor. We're going with what already works. NoseNuggets (talk) 10:21 PM US EDT Oct 22 2008
This has been to be a proven format for the last couple years and I do not see why we have to switch horses in the middle of a stream, because the spelling out of the numbers does not work. NoseNuggets (talk) 10:28 PM US EDT Oct 22 2008.

Don't worry about NoseNuggets, I worked with him on the 2008 NCAA Tournament. He's apparantly never read WP:OWN. GrszReview! 02:20, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

Dream Theater discography

The user removed the information about the Australian chart because it contains only one peak position, where MOS:DISCOG suggests only the top ten positions to avoid redundancy, as in this case a large empty column of Australia. Regards, Cannibaloki 01:30, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

Nah, he's still on the 53-man. To not be, he'd have to go on Reserve/Suspended, which he's not. He'll just be listed as a gameday inactive along with another 7 guys as usual. Pats1 T/C 02:30, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

NHL history timeline

I had thought about that, and decided at first not to do a graphical time line for the Original Six era, since it would have been nothing more than six bars straight across. I might yet create one, however, if there is value to it. Definitely for the last two articles. Regards, Resolute 15:04, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

I'll see what I can come up with. I'll be out of town most of this week, so it might not happen until the weekend. Resolute 20:10, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
Been thinking about the NHL history timeline, and I'm not sure that one timeline for the entire 90 year history of the league would be productive. That is really the biggest problem with the current article... it tries to squish too much data together. Rather than a continuous timeline, how about the article be split into four sections, one to match each history article? We could then link each image I have created, or break the existing chart into four parts, allowing data to be seen easier. The current chart has the advantage of being linkable. Any thoughts? AHIG

What is up! Hey man, just so you know... I have moved to Leeds (away from home) and are studying at University. I don't have my own PC here and I am only able to use a PC (and edit Wikipedia) when I use the Uni libraries... not to worry though they are open 24/7. I have just pretty much written the lyrics section for the AHIG at my sandbox. I now have classes and won't be back on the PCs until tomorrow, so I was thinking, maybe it would be cool if you went over, give the whole section a read through, and maybe even finish it off. We need to then get that on the AHIG page and give the whole of AHIG a read through, which I can do tomorrow, I suppose. Anyway man... like I said I can continue to edit Wikipedia but certainly not as much as I used to. We need/should get AHIG up to FA status... it's a fucking awesome article. REZTER TALK ø 10:38, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

Yeah I think the Reception section needs a bit of beefing... maybe add some shit about bad reviews too... I'm sure there's something out there. I'm not sure we should add more photos, you know just because we can, doesn't mean we should, the images should be relevant. I was thinking maybe a sample for the music section would be cool, but it would need to be relevant and I'm not sure if there are any computers in the uni that would let me edit audio. But I'll look in to it, or you could maybe look in to getting some software, I could help if you wanted. After that I think this article is pretty much done. REZTER TALK ø 13:04, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
OK dude, I'm gonna go now. I may check Wikipedia tomorrow... I'm not too sure of what I will be doing. Bit I think we should nominate AHIG for FA very soon. All we need to do really is expand the reception section, but I think it's FA quality now. So really it's up to you because I never like doing the reception sections lol. REZTER TALK ø 13:47, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
What do you think? Do we need to expand the Reception section or nominate it for FA now? I'm going home now but I will check Wikipedia tomorrow, so get back to me before then if you can. Cya babes. REZTER TALK ø 15:57, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Like I said, I'm really not one for writing reception sections. So is it cool for me to leave that with you? REZTER TALK ø 15:34, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
That's cool man, and yeah you can use my sandbox if you like... I just blanked this one for you. REZTER TALK ø 15:41, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Just wanted to let you know.... you can contact me on my talk page if you want, you don't need to just email me anymore. I can access Wikipedia fine at uni. But you can still email if you want lol, no biggie. I'm not really sure what article we should do next. I don't have my books and magazine sources here in Leeds so I'm not sure I can be as big of a help that I usually am. I could only use the internet, so I'm really unsure of which article to do next, I'm not really too confident about doing a band member. I was thinking about making a "List of Slipknot tours" article, I kind of started something on my Sandbox about a month ago, I actually found it quite hard to find sources for their touring during 1999-2000, and that was as far as I got, I'm sure touring after that would be completely easy to source. So maybe we could do that next, similarily to List of Nine Inch Nails tours. REZTER TALK ø 14:47, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

That's quite funny, I JUST realised that, about Slipknto demo. I dunno abotu the "other wikis" they all seem kind of pointless to me, like fan sites or wahtever. billions of people refer to Wikipedia for their information and not some random wiki somebody set up (which is very easy may i add). So I'm not interested in puttign any of my attention in to that. REZTER TALK ø 15:09, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

What do you think of this.... User:Rezter/Sandbox2, along with the artwork (and maybe a reception section). Could we create that now do you think? REZTER TALK ø 14:50, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

The content of the reception section is certainly good, I just think it needs re-ordering a little and kind of given some structure. I'm sure it would be noted upon in a FA nomination. The section doesn't really have any structure it just feels like quote after quoted if you understand me. Yes use quotes but do like...
The heaviness of the record was generally well received by critics... blah of blah said "blah".
Do like the first paragraph about the heaviness then the second about the melody. If you get me, all the info is there, just needs a little shift around. It's awesome though. REZTER TALK ø 16:44, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Hey nice work on that, I added it to the article. What do you think then, shall we give it a read through now, submit it for FA? Ask Gary King now or what? What's first on the agenda? REZTER TALK ø 14:26, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
OK I'm gonna have to go now, but you give the article a read through and I'll give it a read through when I can (should be tomorrow). Have fun. REZTER TALK ø 16:32, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

I've left some comments and shit on my talk page to your comments. REZTER TALK ø 12:21, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

About the genre thing... we should do that, go through each article separately and list what we have in the talk page and open a discussion for each and see what other people have to say and what sources they can produce, then make a consensus based on those. Have you seen this page; List of songs by Slipknot, check out the talk page. REZTER TALK ø 13:15, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
Yo, I was wondering what you think of All Hope Is Gone World Tour, do you think the Mayhem Festival dates should be part of that article? Like is that just for dates under the "All Hope Is Gone World Tour" name or just all dates in support of the album? I don't know the consensus on it. Because I've also included their appearance on the Loudpark Festival which technically isn't part of the "AHIG WORLD TOUR", you know? Just wanna know your opinion on it really. I've also been looking for sources for: User:Rezter/Sandbox this, and I'm kind of using this as a reference (nto a citation but just as like a rough guide of what tours they've done) I dunno hwo accurate it is but there are a lot of dates I can't find sources, even ones that I KNOW happened. For example I can't find any sources for the Big Day Out festival and Download festivals... and I KNOW Slipknot did them shows so I was wondering what you think to that too, like what if I can't find sources for dates should I leave them out or include them without sources? Or should I even try do this list? REZTER TALK ø 12:31, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
I've been thinking about this Mayhem festival/AHIG tour thing more. I do realize the Mayhem Festival has it's own article, but the Mayhem Festival wasn't really Slipknot's tour per-say, if you understand me. It's like Slipknot going on the Ozzfest, you know. The Mayhem Festival article will change every year and maybe after 2-3 years won't even list all the dates like it is now. So I think it should be included in the AHIG tour article, see Pretty Hate Machine Tour Series you know it includes all performances on different tours and at festivals and stuff... it's hard to decide really because there isn't like any good tour articles so it's kind of coming to our own consensus instead of a generally agreed one. What do you think? Should I add the Mayhem Festival stuff to the AHIG tour article? I personally think it belongs there. REZTER TALK ø 13:33, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Do the same, look through our sources that have Slipknot biography's and list them in the talk page again. We need to sort the AHIG article soon, it's so close to FA quality. REZTER TALK ø 11:15, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

WS article

Good to have someone from each team on the article, then, but I won't cheer for the Rays, no way, no how. Philly NEEDS this. LoL. KV5Squawk boxFight on! 21:48, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Hey, I know you probably didn't see it, and that's OK, but the Rays starting pitchers in Games 3 and 4 are listed in the cited article as well; they're down in the 2nd or 3rd paragraph, so I reverted your edit back. All I know is, this is going to be an exciting World Series! EaglesFanInTampa 11:53, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

That's true. If the Rays season article has good monthly summaries in it, we could bring some info from there. I can definitely do a condensed version of the Phillies article... but not tonight. KV5Squawk boxFight on! 22:17, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

RVs

I was simply mass rv'ing the edits of Nültide to the version previous to him. In the case of the Slipknot album article the version previous belonged to Haunted Angel who is a respected veteran editor on Wikipedia. I had no reason to assume his version of the page was anything other than proper. I am on a chat line with several admin friends and will have Nültide re-blocked as soon as I can. This time his block will be lengthy. If you notice any IPs that are sockpuppet'ing the edits of Nültide let me know and I will have them dealt. AFC North

Yes. I do think it is odd. Especially because that Steelers beat the Ravens. I do think however, that we should go with the ones on NFL.com ~Richmond96 tc 17:03, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

If you haven't noticed, NFL.com is just doing tiebreakers alphabetically. There's no point in copying them. They had the Jets, Patriots, and Bills all leading the AFC East at different points in the week leading up to last weekend. They change it constantly from real tiebreakers to alphabetically. Don't follow them. Pats1 T/C 17:08, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

First off, I think you should remove the general managers and owners from the list, and move the article to List of Pittsburgh Pirates managers, just to keep it consistent with the other related lists that have already been featured. And about the List of Pittsburgh Penguins head coaches, I'll remove it from my list so that no one will bother you. I was literally in the middle at the front during Bodom and Machine Head but I had to get out of there during Machine Head because I was literally being crushed... I have bruised ribs right now. So I didn't get any really good photos of Slipknot because I was about a quarter of the way from the stage during Slipknot. BUT!!!..... I got to meet Joey fuckign Jordison after the show, I got a photo with him and he signed my arm were I have "All Hope Is Gone" tattooed. I'll show you pics/videos in the next couple of days. I also uploaded a cropped version of Joey from the pic with me, so theres a decent high res unmasked pic of him on the commons if we need it. REZTER TALK ø 20:18, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
No I'm not gonna get his autograph tattooed. It was kind of weird I was like "Hey Joey check out my tattoo" and he just kind of walked up to me and signed it, I guess he misunderstood what I said and thought I would want to get it tattooed on me. REZTER TALK ø 12:34, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
