A tag has been placed on Catholic diocese of Highveld requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. References[edit]

Hi Bishopseraphim, your last edit to Catholic Diocese of Highveld was formally not correct. The article had a reference, which explains the term "Titular". If you want to expand this explanation, you should do it in the <ref> tags. Don't write text behind a heading, cause the text in the same line turns the heading off. Deleted articles[edit]

I noticed that multiple articles which you created were deleted. This indicates a problem with your contributions. At the right of those deletion notification messages is a box with information about writing one's first article. Please read Wikipedia:Your first article carefully. I quote: "Articles that do not meet notability guidelines and do not cite reliable published sources are very likely to be deleted". It is also important to understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia which is a reference work containing verifiable material (WP:V) using reliable sources (WP:RS), and is not for promotion (WP:PROMOTION) or soapboxing (WP:SOAP). As such, it is also not recommended for editors who have a conflict of interest (WP:COI) about a subject to write on that subject on Wikipedia. The blue links of this message are very important. Thank you, —PaleoNeonate - 08:07, 8 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If your topic has been written about in reliable independent sources, either online or in print, please add those to articles or, better, list them in the talk pages of the articles so that other non-involved editors can improve the articles using them. PamD 10:15, 8 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Roman Catholic Diocese of Highveld is an autocepalous, Catholic jurisdiction which has been well defined herein. The contents in the article aligns with both the policies of Wikipedia and the religious ethnics of moral law which is why other non involveing editors have worked on it. So I don't know why these article is making you to feel uncomfortable when it actually dealt with the true nature of the diocese in question. The website for the diocese are still under construction which I suppose shouldn't be an issue at all with regard to Wikipedia policies. These diocese is the only diocese in South Africa that have the legal right for the use of the name Roman Catholic Church ; and the changes that followed suit is not by coincidence ; But with a due Canonical process as prescribed by the relevant Church Authority. If removing these article will make you happy on earth then be the one to do so ; But I assure you it will certainly not make you happy at last in God's eternal kingdom. May God richly bless you. Bye. Bishopseraphim (talk) 18:50, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Bishopseraphim: Thanks for your message. The issue is not one of personal editor happiness but of encyclopedic quality and Wikipedia policies, of course. You are also invited by the above message to participate at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Roman Catholic Diocese of Highveld. To do so, you can post a single message there stating your reasons why this article should not be deleted, beginning the message using:
* '''Keep''': <your reason here>.
I think that the best reason to give would be notability, but this would also need to be supported by a link assessing the importance of the diocese. Improving the article is also still possible while the (usually 7-days) deletion debate takes place. I have left a message on the article's talk page (here: Talk:Roman Catholic Diocese of Highveld) with some tips. Thanks again, —PaleoNeonate - 19:17, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
As has already been pointed out, the place to discuss whether the article should be deleted is Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Roman_Catholic_Diocese_of_Highveld, where you have not yet contributed. Please contribute to the discussion there. But I must point out: you say "The contents in the article aligns with both the policies of Wikipedia and...", but if you follow the link to Five pillars of Wikipedia in the Welcome message at the top of this talk page, you will see: "All articles must strive for verifiable accuracy, citing reliable, authoritative sources, ...". This article at present cites no sources of any sort, whether or not reliable and authoritative, so is against Wikipedia policy. PamD 20:51, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
