Your recent editing history at Zachary Taylor shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Thanks, and embarrassingly belated welcome[edit]

Though we disagreed there, I just wanted to say a more extended thank you for your work at Zachary Taylor. I know I gave you a hard time in your initial edits, but it's not your fault for not knowing Wikipedia policies; it's my fault for biting a new user in contravention of our policy. Detail aside, you were right on the fundamental point that this belonged in the article in some form, and I was wrong. Thanks for sticking around and making your case.

Anyway, I hope you'll find you like the place and want to stick around--Wikipedia always needs more history editors, as you yourself have no doubt observed! Please feel free to ping my talk page if you ever have any questions about editing, or if there's anyway I can help. -- Khazar2 (talk) 13:20, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much. It's much appreciated. Bhawke (talk) 16:16, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
