Fair use rationale for Image:Rosamund_St_Viaduct.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Rosamund_St_Viaduct.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Corrie characters[edit]

Hello Ben, you will probably never read this, seeing as you havent made an edit under this username for well over a year now, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Me and a few other editors are trying to bring some of the classic corrie characters up to a decent encyclopedic standard. I noticed, after seeing your vast improvements to the Coronation Street page, that you have access to Corrie literature and I wondered if any of it mentions anything about character creation? why they were brought in, bits on casting etc, writer intent. I've been trying to get some stuff on Hilda Ogden, but have found little available from recent sources on the net. You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Betty Turpin owner of the Rovers[edit]

Re your comment on Bet Gilroy's talk page that the brewery owned the pub. It was established in 2012 that Annie owned the Rovers and bequeathed it to Betty Turpin. The brewery were said to own it in 80s storylines but they have clearly been retconned out of existence.
