March 2012[edit]

Continued adding of trivial pop-culture to the article for 300 (number) may be construed as vandalism. Please discuss the issue at Talk:300(number) if you truly believe the factoid is notable. Cheers! Achowat (talk) 17:48, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to 300 (number), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. The page also has trivia about pokemon on 386 so i cant see why there shouldnt be harry potter trivia — Preceding unsigned comment added by Beandy9 (talkcontribs) .
Again, if you'd like to discuss it's inclusion, simply use The Article's Talk Page, and we can talk about the best way to include the most notable information possible. Ignoring and changing an invisi-comment (<!-- This thing -->) is not the proper way to go about making the changes you want. And feel free to simply respond to this page, as I will be moving any comments you leave at my talk here anyway (Just so that everyone can more easily see the full conversation). Cheers! I have put stuff on the talk page — Preceding unsigned comment added by Beandy9 (talkcontribs) 18:04, 20 March 2012 (UTC) Per above note, moved from User talk:Achowat[reply]

Just so you know, I've moved your comments to the correct Talk page (my mistake, I linked you red). It can be found at Talk: 300 (number)#Pop Culture. Cheers! Achowat (talk) 18:28, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Although you're now discussing it, please keep 3RR in mind:

Your recent editing history at 300 (number) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 20:40, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
