Request for a link

I'm trying to analyze User:BigDaddy777's behavior in context, based on the RfC. This is very hard, because the RfC quotes him out of context; I can't fairly analyze a quote that way. Working through the threads to do post mortems is extremely time consuming.

Would you please send me one or two links to a discussion of some length, representing BDs worst behavior? It should include more than just one or two isolated remarks.

Please leave it at my talk page under User talk:Paul Klenk#BG777 Worst-Of Threads, trying not duplicate a thread submitted someone else. I will continue to sort through the RfC, but one or two links would be a great help. Thanks.

Since you endorsed the original RfC [1], I thought you might be interested to know that since the dispute resolution process has stalled due to BigDaddy's refusal to respond to this RfC, some are now questioning whether an RfAr should be filed.[2] Your comments on this new issue would be appreciated. 69.121.133.154 05:08, 27 September 2005 (UTC)

Howdy! Good catch on removing the 35 point margin of victory. I'd forgotten that margin of victory isn't included in the computer polls this year. My bad. Do you happen to know if any of the computer polls use other factors that usually (but not necesarily always) correlate statistically with margin of victory, such as margin of total yards gained? iPod

Hi, I notice you weighed in on the amount of colors that the iPod video/fifth gen displays. I've been doing some research and it was infact the 4th gen that had 65,536 colors displayable on it's LCD. The new 5th Gen does infact have the ability to display 260,000 colors. The "tech specs" page on Apple's website only states "over 65,000" which is either a lowball estimate or a mistake by the website creation team. If you view Steve Jobs' introduction announcement he states the iPod 5th gen has the ability to display 260,000 colors. This could be the cause of the continued revert war on the iPod article.Gateman1997 00:26, 19 October 2005 (UTC)

• Good thinking on the asking Apple for clarification. It's no unheard of for Jobs to make an error, but the same can be said for Apple's web team over the years. Either one could have made the mistake and only Apple knows for sure which one it was (though for their sake I hope it was the web team as Job's announcment was used for the basis of the press' articles about the new iPod.Gateman1997 01:24, 19 October 2005 (UTC)

Sorry for changing it so many time without leaving a notice, however in the keynote presentation Jobs states the new 5G iPod displays "260,000 colors" which is simplified for the exact number of colors for 18-bit color displays (262,144) OriginalGamer

Thanks for the warning, ass, but there was no vandalism. I wasn't fooling around, The show has a liberal slant throughout, it's not a secret. Just look at the guest list. I meant what I put in my edit. It's your problem if you take this in a negative way. Now take your power trip elsewhere, and don't threaten me son, k, thx. Sorry about the Steve Jobs thing...

I am truly sorry for my idiocy regarding the topics of Steve Jobs and Microsoft. I guess my excitement over the fact that I could truly edit a live page rapidly turned into disobedience. I greatly enjoy this wonderful resource, and have realized that I was, in a sense, destroying it. I hope you, and the rest of the wikipedia community can forgive me. However, regarding my edit of the South Park category; I changed George Bush to Jeb Bush, because I believed it was a false fact, if discussing the ceratin episode. Why was this change deleted?

I didn't make the change on the South park article, but it was probably changed because it was intended to be George Bush in the show, as he politicized the event (Karl Rove is his advisor, not Jeb Bush's). --bbatsell | « give me a ring » 03:06, 29 October 2005 (UTC)

re Vandalism warnings

This computer, and the computers in this network are used at a public high school. I'm sorry that a few rowdy, stupid kids may have decided to fool around with the information on this page, but banning it would be a bad thing. We all use this website for research. Thanks for pointing out that I was reverting legitimate changes to the Civilization IV page. I had honestly missed that, I thought I was simply reverting removal of religion information. Hi, I'm just curious why you reverted the edits that said that the film opens in other US cities on Dec 16. It didn't look like vandalism to me. I'm wondering if I may have missed something.
