Watership Down Series 3 Cast Lineup[edit]

Hi Barrett, I just wanted to clear up some misconceptions you have over Series 3 of Watership Down. Most of the celebrity cast had left by this point, due to the factthat the show wasen't doing too well in UK ratings etc. So costs had to be cut for series 3 and since the show wasen't as popular as they hoped, many of the celebrity actors left, only Richard Briers remained to play the role of Captain Broom for the third series.

Now onto Hazel, yes the voice sounds similar to Ian Shaw, but it is not him. He is not listed in the end credits to Series 3, I think it may be Nigel Pegram providing his voice for Sries 3, however unfortunately I can't prove that, what I can prove though is Ian Shaw is not part of the case by Series 3, obviously he must have left to do other projects. The same can be said for the majority of the actors from Series 1 and 2. Only a handfull of the original actors stayed, since they can be keapt at a regular payment rate (I'd imagine) and because they themselves perhaps chose to stay on. I also believe that Pegram played Woundwort in this series as well, replacing John Hurt, but again I'm afraid I can't prove it at this moment in time.

There is a YouTube video that shows the cast list for Series 3; the list of the cast are as follows; Richard Biriers (the only UK celebrity to remain), Maria Darling, Andrew Falvey, Penny Freeman, David Holt, Anthony Jackson, Stephen Mangan, Sue Elliot Nicholls (the only female cast member to stay for all 3 series), Paul Panting, Nigel Pegram, Rob Rackstraw and Lee Ross. If you search YouTube for 'Watership Down Series Three Credits' you'll find the video and the cast list should appear streight away, revealing what I said is true.

I do hope that you will find this video and see it for yourself before you go ahead and make anymore further changes to the show's page on Wikipedia. Thank you. (D31 (talk) 20:20, 16 July 2012 (UTC))[reply]

Re: Happy Feet Two[edit]

There may have been some baby thrown out with the bathwater there. I saw a cascade of changes of the name of the film to the {{PAGENAME}} template; that looked disruptive on the surface, so I reverted. —C.Fred (talk) 01:28, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oh. Sorry about that. I'll type the name of the article out next time. I wasn't made at you either.--BarrettM82 Contact 01:36, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And as for this edit I made, I removed the synopsis you added because it had been copied verbatim from another website. Plot summaries may not be copied from other websites, even official ones, due to issues with copyright violations. —C.Fred (talk) 02:10, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on File:AlvinandtheChipmunks4teaserposter.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from https://www.facebook.com/pages/Alvin-and-the-Chipmunks-4/236944009713598. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. standalone film[edit]

A stand alone film with a different production and directors and makers is called as a prequel. Luxpapa (talk) 06:55, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

The movie isn't even connected to the 1998 movie. The creators of the 2014 movie have even said that, so please stop re-adding something that isn't even true. They have different monsters, an entire different tone and plot, and the 1998 movie never mentions the MUTOs, so the 2014 movie is in no way a prequel to the 1998 movie.--LillyOmega (Contact) 11:44, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Tarbosaurus: The Mightiest Ever[edit]

Hi, I'm Mduvekot. BarrettM82, thanks for creating Tarbosaurus: The Mightiest Ever!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. The sources do not establish that there was any kind of critical reception (reviews) of the film at all. I also struggle to see the film as a documentary. it's a fictional narrative. Can you provide sources that say it's a documentary? Thanks,

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Mduvekot (talk) 22:53, 28 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, when I created the article, "documentary" was simply the best term I could think of at the time to label the movie as. When I watched it, it initially felt like a documentary, but by the end it didn't. Unfortunately I hadn't been sure about what else to label it as.--LillyOmega (Contact) 23:00, 28 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Stop adding unsourced content. Just because you saw a logo appear on the screen doesn't mean that something is a production company. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 19:20, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Tarbosaurus: The Mightiest Ever has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable film, no independent reviews found in a WP:BEFORE. Found only sites selling the DVD/Blu-ray, other wikis, and some videos. Fails WP:NFILM. Tagged for notability since February 2018.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
