Romani People[edit]

Re:this - sorry if this sounds too strong, but it's not "good information." In fact, it's complete nonsense. It's balderdash. Even the reference is probably grossly misquoted at best.

It is not even certain that the Romani people come from any one location in the first place. (In fact, the Romani language indicates otherwise.) Thus, to claim that all Romanies come from Multan is really premature. Tell me, have you ever seen an entire ethnic group being traced back to one city?! I think it's a bit like saying that all Albanians come from Durrës.

To go even further and say that all Romanies are linked to a specific temple in Multan, then, is really outrageous. It's like pointing to some old church in Durrës and claiming that the Albanians' ancestors had something to do with it.

Finally, I repeat: this was inserted by a sock puppet [1] [2]! So, why leave it in, especially without even discussing it at the talk page first?! --Kuaichik (talk) 20:48, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Im sorry but when i saw the references and stuff i thought it was a good infromation beacuze i study history but I dont know

I already did. See? In fact, I was not even the one who raised this concern; as you can see, it was another user (Xinjao). Anyway, once again, I'm sorry if my objection sounded too strong.
