If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on ArcadePreHacks requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. xanchester (t) 23:39, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Before you create another article...[edit]

...have a look at Wikipedia:Notability as well as Wikipedia:Notability (web) to learn about the criteria that a topic must meet before it merits an article on Wikipedia. Thanks. ~Amatulić (talk) 00:28, 7 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources[edit]

There are certain types of website that can never be used as valid sources for Wikipedia articles -- for example, websites where all the content is submitted by users and there is no central editorial board. Therefore, a Wikia is never an acceptable source for a Wikipedia article. You must also never use a crowdsourced site like Youtube or Answers.com to judge notability.

With that said, though, I've decided to not delete the article on MattyB because Billboard wrote an article about him.

Also, I've had to delete the photo you uploaded, for copyright reasons. I know that you labeled it as "own work", but all you did was take a screenshot. That's not what 'own work' means. DS (talk) 16:49, 29 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Talkback[edit]

Hello, BTO98. You have new messages at Mkdw's talk page.
Message added 21:31, 10 January 2013 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.[reply]

Mkdwtalk 21:31, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article MattyBraps has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article fails WP:MUSICBIO; a single Billboard mention does not warrant an encyclopedia article.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Orphaned non-free media (File:MattyB ( At age 7) At his recording Studio.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:MattyB ( At age 7) At his recording Studio.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:25, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:MattyBraps.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:MattyBraps.png. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. VernoWhitney (talk) 20:52, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Last Stand Union City[edit]

Hello BTO98,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Last Stand Union City for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Funnyfarmofdoom (talk to me) 14:46, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppetry and vote-stacking[edit]

BTO98, you can't vote twice on the Matty Braps AfD. You have claimed as both BTO98 and anon 50.130.43.201 that you created the article, not to mention that both of your identities have very similar writing styles. And trust me, Wikipedia can confirm that you are using both identities, and you can be blocked for a long time (perhaps indefinitely) forsockpuppetry and vote-stacking. Please remove one of your votes. Cresix (talk) 20:30, 3 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"If" it's you??? You know it's you. So remove one of your votes (take it off of the AfD page, don't just say "I remove one of my votes"); otherwise you will have to learn the hard way that vote-stacking by sockpuppetry is one of the most egregious policy violations on Wikipedia. And after you get blocked you will not be able to edit MattyBraps at all. You can make all the comments you want, but remove one of your "STRONGEST KEEP" votes. Now. Cresix (talk) 00:43, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 00:07, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

March 2013[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for sockpuppetry. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Dennis Brown - © Join WER 13:59, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I hope you will use this block time to consider a few matters that could make you a better editor, should you decide to continue. First, Wikipedia editors aren't nearly as stupid as you think they are. We include many people with advanced degrees who work in scholarly professions. Many of us can see through the kind of lies that you tried to use better than we can see through glass. Secondly, disruptive editing, lying, and attempts to sabotage the system not only get you into trouble, they also defeat the very goals that you are trying to achieve. If MattyBraps is deleted, one of the major reasons (but certainly not the only reason) is your behavior as creator of the article. You did serious damage to your own efforts to keep the article on Wikipedia. And finally, take some time to read Wikipedia policies. Start with WP:5P, and every time you see a blue link, click it and read what you see. If you can do these things, you might stand a chance of becoming a good editor. Otherwise, you need to move on to somewhere else to spend your time. Think about it. Cresix (talk) 02:31, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Dear Administrators,

I believe I was unfairly blocked. The day that I was blocked my 180 day log in to Wikipedia expired and I had to log in again. I have no idea what my IP address is and I had made no edits using the IP address. I learned the page I created on my favorite artist MattyBraps was subject to deletion. I copy and pasted the words STRONGLY AGREE from another user because I had no idea how to edit an ADf page. Someone then accused me of having a similar writing style to someone named fifty something. The reason was probably me copying that quote STONGLY AGREE and me being in the same age group as her and other MattyBRaps supporters. I had no idea how to react to that and I said some rambled statement that I was logged out that day I don’t think its me but if is I’m sorry which did not help my case that much since I never have managed to defend myself against people accusing me of things. Then the next day I was blocked and I had no idea why. Personally I would hate putting my IP address out there. I never used a IP account because I am legitimately paranoid about some things and I thought someone would track me down and murder me but I had an RIchState99 account but I don’t use that account at all. I found a bunch of stuff on my talk page about rules I thought I complied with but apparently did not. I did not want to get in trouble so I use this account instead and have never used that account for along time. BTO98 (talk) 19:41, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Fortunately, you are clearly completely blind to the give-away signs that make it abundantly clear that you are lying. I say "fortunately", because it means that you won't be able to hide similar evidence in the future. Many of us are nowhere near as stupid as you seem to think we are. (There is no such account as RIchState99: do you mean RichState99?) JamesBWatson (talk) 13:37, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Ok, let's assume for a moment that we believe you. Seeing as you will never, ever, be able to even type the letters "MattyBraps" - or even edit its article if it ever ever exists in the future on Wikipedia (and I do mean EVER), what types of edits would you be intending to make? (✉→BWilkins←✎) 23:04, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I meant RichState99 i Oblviously had a typo and Im not lying to you!

What Edits I would Make[edit]

I would obviously delete spam, try to add references and make the article better like I did before. But then you deleted it and I was falsly accused for sockpuppetry.

Hey[edit]

If you check my current IP you would see that im using the same computer. Im not lying. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RichState99 (talkcontribs) 19:43, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
