License tagging for Image:Palookaville.jpg[edit]

Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

The Vandals[edit]

Hi, I noticed your many recent edits to The Vandals and wanted to address some of them. You may notice I reverted all your changes. I hope you don't take offense to this, it's simply that there were too many of them to deal with on a case-by-case basis and most of them had the same problems. Specifically there are 2 things I'd like to point out:

There's nothing wrong with red links (for example, Kung Fu Films). You removed a lot of them from the article unnecessarily. If an item is linked in an article and the link doesn't lead anywhere yet, then it alerts the reader to an opportunity to create a new article. Also, once the new article is created, all these links will automatically lead to it. There's no need to remove links to articles that don't exist yet, or to redirect them to existing articles (ie. Kung Fu Films to Kung Fu Records).
It's not necessary to link the same item multiple times within the same section. For example, in the discography section you added links to Kung Fu Records and to CD/LP in each column. This is unnecessary. The item should be linked the first time it appears in a section, and not more unless it really warrants it. There's no value in linking the same item everywhere it appears within an article. This just clutters up the page with links. It should be linked a reasonable number of times, ie. once per section.
