Teams logos on 2014–15 Botola[edit]

Hi, it is not permitted to use the teams logos on the 2014–15 Botola page, unless you add a rationale in every file page. Moreover, you need to put smaller logos to make the page more readable. Would you like to fix this issue, please? Alexsd27 (talk) 19:26, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Teams logos (2)[edit]

Hi, I know you worked hard on it, this is why I did NOT remove your section, I just hid it and left it untouched in the "Edit" area :)
I am convinced, if you want to keep them in the article, but I can assure you that some day an administrator will demand a rationale for a use in the 2014–15 Botola page for every logo. You may look at the difference between the page of the logo of Club Africain, and the page of Olympique Khouribga logo, for example. You will understand what I mean.
Links:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Club_Africain.png (the logo is used in 3 articles about Club Africain so the page has 3 rationales)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Olympique_Club_of_Khouribga_%28emblem%29.png (the logo is used in 2 pages, but has only 1 rationale for the team page, it still needs a rationale for the 2014–15 Botola)
I will not change your section anymore B.Zaki, but I told you about that because it is wikipedia's policy :)
Cheers from Tunis :)

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

About rationales[edit]

Yes I think you need a rationale for every image used on 2014–15 Botola, this is why I did not use Tunisian club logos on 2014–15 Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1. If you check the articles of each season of Premier League, La Liga, French Ligue 1, etc... you won't find teams logos.
I am not an administrator on Wikipedia, so try to ask an administrator who will give you more information.
You are welcome, and I also love Morocco and its people, we're one big family :)
Now don't forget to sign your messages, like you've been told by SineBot.
