Disputed fair use rationale for Image:SamOlyEagle1.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:SamOlyEagle1.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:36, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Bot: Having read the log of your deletions page, and user entries there, it is clear that you make mistakes from time to time. We all do, and you being a bot, may not even realize it when you. Firstly, you claimed a dispute, but did even give a reason to which a response could be noted. Secondly, the following includes the Fair Use rationales indicating the validity of this image, which I will also add to the image itself as per proper protocol: A) The image qualifies under "Acceptible Images" items #2, #4, #7, and #8, with primary emphasis on #4. Specifically, the description as required by the Wiki page is "Other promotional material: Posters, programs, billboards, ads." This image appears/appeared on many such items, and its copyright is clearly stated in the image provided.

I defer however to you, in that the image may have been larger than necessary previously, I am more than happy to upload a much smaller qualifying image. And thank you, too! Aviedit 13:37, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
