November 2010[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Cyprus. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Your recent editing activity has been reported here, on the "edit warring" admin noticeboard. If you feel your actions were justified and did not constitute edit-warring, you may wish to consider going to that noticeboard page and adding an explanation of the issue from your perspective. Cyprus[edit]

Stop deleting stuff! Add new material under Churches and leave the mosques alone. I do not have faith in your edits. Mention the things that you want to delete on the discussion page and the reasons that you want to delete them. If we have a consensus, then we can do it. Otherwise, do not delete anything. —Stephen (talk) 17:15, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:28, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

About Mosques in Cyprus[edit]

Hi, you left me the following message:

About Mosques in Cyprus issue Sir Dr.K I would like to express you my concerns over the pictures of mosques in Cyprus. I live in Cyprus and I know that this mosques don't exist in Cyprus non occupied land and belong to the so called Northern Cyprus which is actually Turkish occupied part of Cyprus which Turks invaded, killed thousands of women and children and reverted all christian churches into mosques. So if I find you also agreed I would like to clear pictures of Mosques of Cyprus because are not actually existing in this country except from Halla Sultan Mosques. Do you agree my friend? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Austria12 (talkcontribs) 16:17, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

I think that the Republic of Cyprus is legally, under international law, still in charge of the whole island. Therefore the Cyprus article should include the cultural heritage of the whole island. I understand and share your grief over the bloody history of the island but that does not mean that you have to forget that the Republic of Cyprus is the legal representative of the whole island and that includes the northern part of the island. Anyway please discuss this on the article of Cyprus talkpage and not on mine or yours. This way we can gain consensus with other editors as well. Many thanks. Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Andreas2009 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Dr.K. λogosπraxis 18:23, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
