Orphaned non-free media (Image:JSainsbury.PNG)

Thanks for uploading Image:JSainsbury.PNG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:53, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

A long shot

Hi, this is definitely a long shot, but I noticed your name on the list of photographers, and that you live in Newcastle. I've been trying to improve the Alan Shearer article, but there are no pics of him on commons, wikipedia, or licensed appropriately on flickr. You don't happen to have any tucked away anywhere...? - Toon05 21:44, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Well it'd be great if you could, but no worries if not, it was worth a shot. - Toon05 22:14, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Your oppose on my RFA

I would really like you to reconsider your oppose. I made that CSD tag nearly five months ago; it was one of the first pages that I had ever tagged for speedy deletion. I have not made any similar mistakes for a long time. If you would like to see the results of my recent CSD tagging, please look at my patrol log. I have, for quite a while, marked as patrolled every (read: 100%) article that I tagged for speedy deletion. If an article that I marked as patrolled does not exist, that means the reviewing administrator agreed with the CSD tag. If an article I marked as patrolled still exists, check its history. I very likely have no edits whatsoever on the article. I think that my recent track record speaks for itself. Thank you for your consideration. J.delanoygabsadds 22:54, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

I appreciate that. I didn't take it as an attack or a put-down. I, well, right now, I have no idea why I said anything at all. I guess I was just being defensive. Sorry. J.delanoygabsadds 23:08, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
It wasn't just a bit odd... In any case, I wasn't trying to defend my tagging, but I honestly don't know what I was trying to accomplish with my original post here. J.delanoygabsadds 23:12, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Good point

However if it could be so easily done, then why isn't it already? By all means, it's not like I'm prohibiting the use of AWB with this. And yes, I know; I use AWB. DeluxNate (talk) 12:31, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

RFA Thanks

Thank you for participating in my RfA, Asenine!
My RfA passed by a count of 64/3/3, so I am now an administrator! I thank you for your input and thoughts. I value them greatly, but I hope I can do a decent enough job in spite of your concerns. However, since I plan to conduct my adminship in service of the community, I believe the community has a right to revoke that privilege at any time. Thus, if you see me do anything terribly wrong, I will be open for recall under reasonable circumstances. If you have any advice, complaints, or concerns for me, please let me know. Thanks again.
