Nomination of Forgotten Plague for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Forgotten Plague is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Forgotten Plague until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Film article[edit]

Hi! I wanted to give you some feedback on sourcing

It's very important to make sure that the article have multiple sources that are independent of the film and its creators/publishers, as this helps to establish how the film is notable. It looks like in the AfD discussion there were concerns over there really only being one independent source that discussed the film, which is definitely an issue. What makes this a bit more of a dire issue is that the source in question was posted on the HuffPo's contributor blog network - which did not receive any true editorial oversight. They may receive some general editing for grammar and spelling but the HuffPo wouldn't fackcheck anything or provide any of the other work that would be expected of a news outlet's editorial staff. As such, contributor blog posts are typically seen as unreliable unless we can show that the writer is routinely seen as an authoritative, reliable source by other reliable sources - especially academic and scholarly sources, which can sometimes be hard to do.
