Hi McMatter-
This is a page about a major party candidate for the United State Senate in Colorado who just received 319,315 votes yesterday. The candidate he beat Ron Hanks has a wikipedia page so I don't understand you saying Joe shouldn't have a page. You can google Joe O'Dea so many sources. Thanks Artedm (talk) 02:02, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Primaries are not considered elections for the purpose of WP:NPOL, he is still only a candidate and candidates are not considered notable unless they are notable for other reasons and so far no other reason has been presented or proven through sourcing. WP:BLP1E applies here as the only story about him have been in his run for senate and until he is actually elected to the senate. Ron Hanks however, is notable because he is an elected official at the state level. McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 04:11, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
three 2022 united states senate candidates who have just won a primary all have wikipedia pages see Katie_Britt Joe_Pinion Jo_Rae_Perkins a former Colorado us senate nominee also has a wikipedia page Darryl Glenn. Remember senator is a statewide position/ election. You can have many candidates for school board, city council, mayor, state representative, state senator but this is united states senate only 100 senators. Hi Artedm, yes, she does. However IMO her achievements don't meet the general notability requirements for a biography on WP. You are welcome to re-submit the draft if you wish it to be re-reviewed. MurielMary (talk) 11:01, 13 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Clozee moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Clozee, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Clozee[edit]

@Artedm: That article you moved out of draft was in a poor condition to say the least and I've had to copyedit it down to a bare stub. To say that somehow the article was in decent condition for mainspace is disengenous. The French article is in an even worse condition than this article and saying that due of the presence of the French article that they're should be an article on here, is incorrect. This wikipedia has an higher standards than what is acceptable on the fr wikipedia. While it is pefectly legal to move your stuff out of draft, there is the understanding which is consensus based, that the article must be in a fit state for mainspace and that wasn't. Please do not make a habit of it. scope_creepTalk 07:57, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
