March 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Lisa Unger has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bfacebook\.com (links: http://www.facebook.com/pages/lisa-unger/40640680974).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 14:22, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Lisa Unger Author Photo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Lisa Unger Author Photo.jpg, which you've attributed to lisaunger.com. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 20:10, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In the Blood (novel)[edit]

Hi there. Thank you for creating the article on Lisa Unger's new novel. I have removed the plot section, as the text you added was copied from lisaunger.com - for copyright reasons, we cannot allow copied text to be used in this way. The tone of this copied synopsis was also not suitable for an encyclopedia. Please try rephrasing the plot summary in your own words.

I hope you continue working on this article. There are a lot of good sources out there to work with. Let me know if I can help further. Take care, Moswento talky 15:12, 17 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of Interest[edit]

Hi there, and thanks again for your recent contributions. It appears from your edit history that you may have a conflict of interest regarding Lisa Unger and her novels. Under Wikipedia policy, editors should not edit articles when they have a conflict of interest with the article subject. You can read more about what that means here. If you would like to continue working on these articles, the most appropriate way forward is to post any changes on the talk pages of the articles, and ask myself or another uninvolved editor to review these changes before adding them to the article. Take care, Moswento talky 14:45, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Update Requests[edit]

This is a request to update some information found on this page... 1) First paragraph of page. Could you please update to say " … have sold more than 2 million copies … " vs. 1.7 million. [1] 2) Awards and Honors section. IN THE BLOOD. Could you please add " Goodreads Choice Awards Nominee for Best Book (2014), Suspense Magazine Best Books of 2014, Sun-Sentinel Best Mysteries of 2014 " [2]
