BTW, the links were red when I wrote that edit summary. Removing the notability tag is inappropriate until the concerns have been addressed. If I didn't think that this was an article worth having on Wikipedia, I would have deleted it...Instead, I placed the notability tag--a very commonly used tool--as an indication that the new article was deficient in this area. The same reason applied to the stub tag I placed. This is no negative refelction on you or your work, rather it's an attempt to gather help for a new article.
As for the notability guideline, there's a long history regarding the necessity of demonstrable notability, assert via reliable sources, on Wikipedia.
