Hello Ann, Does the blurb on your Dorothy Levitt book include the dates of her birth and death. I contributed most of the article but couldn't find these dates, or where she grew up. Regards Autodidactyl 14:41, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hullo Autodidactyl: sorry I've not replied sooner — I've only just come back to this page. No my article on Dorothy Levitt does not include her life dates because I was not able to find them when I was writing my book. I would be very interested to know where you got your information about birth and family name. Best, Ann

Hello Ann, Does this help / trigger any leads? Regards Autodidactyl (talk) 20:02, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Query: Southport Speed Trials Advice please[edit]

Hello Ann, there are several comments amassing at Talk:Dorothy Levitt#Query: Southport Speed Trials Advice please. I hope this message draws your attention to them. As both the (proxy) creator and ongoing editor of the page, effectively under 4 guises for technical reasons (including the one above), I know that it was my interpretation of a hazy paucity of online sources that has probably 'not yet drawn the right conclusions' at which you and Dot may have already arrived - because she was there and you actually bothered to read her words. I am grateful to you for drawing my attention to the issues, and will be glad to make further amends if you are able to email me scans of any relevant pages in her book. The article needs improving, if nothing else so that some reviewer does not cast doubts on the veracity of your forthcoming, 'block busting' tome because it disagrees with the tropes on Wikipedia and all its plagiarised derivatives. p.s. Einon Clud / Old Radnorian / Blog agrees with you [1]. Regards Chienlit (talk) 16:55, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Ann, Congratulations on the DNB gig, I look forward to reading and refing to it. I am now suspicious that 'Jerome Vincent' is a nom de plume, so maybe contact with a director or member of the cast would be more rewarding. (I Googled Vincent Jerome but he seems much to young.) You can email me via the 'Email this user' option in the Toolbox on the left side of the screen when you are in my User/talk pages. Regards. Chienlit (talk) 13:39, 1 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
