Proposed deletion of Classic Nursery Rhymes[edit]

The article Classic Nursery Rhymes has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable collection. Title doesn't warrant itself to redirect.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. • I see that you have previously received a message about very similar removal of content from Boohbah without explanation. I also see a number of other occasions when you have removed content from articles without any explanation, such as these edits: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]. You really do need to give a brief explanation in an edit summary when you remove content, as otherwise it is likely to look to other editors like vandalism, and sooner or alter you are likely to be blocked from editing by an administrator. In fact, you should give an edit summary for every edit, whether removing content or not, so that other editors can see what you are doing, but looking at your editing history I have not found any edits at all for which you have taken the small amount of trouble required to write an edit summary. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Classic Nursery Rhymes, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for Deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discusion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 331dot (talk) 07:54, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:MacDonald's Farm[edit]

Hello, Annamargarita0. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "MacDonald's Farm".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Cabayi (talk) 19:26, 22 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

September 2019[edit]

Please do not create premature articles as you have at Dancing on Ice (series 12). Per MOS:TV we do not create episode tables or season articles where the only sourced information is notice of a renewal. The article does not even include that. Season articles require, as a minimum, a sourced episode table or substantial other content that will normally include multiple sources. As it stands, Dancing on Ice (series 12) does not have enough content or sources to justify creation of a standalone article. --AussieLegend () 14:17, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Draft:Dancing on Ice (series 12), you may be blocked from editing. AussieLegend () 14:28, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

There is really no point submitting draft articles for review if they are undersourced. All articles require sources. This is the reason that Draft:Dancing on Ice (series 12) and was draftified. As there have been no attempts to improve the draft in the few minutes since it was draftified, submitting it for review serves no purpose as the article will not be moved to article space until the problem has been fixed. All you are doing by submitting it for review is editing disruptively and wasting the time of reviewers. If you persist you are likely to be blocked. --AussieLegend () 14:29, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • There is absolutely no point linking to redlinked articles as you did here when the article that you're linking to no longer exists because it has been moved to draft space. Links can be added after the season article is moved from draft space to article space. You would be better off fixig the draft than making unnecessary links. --AussieLegend () 16:02, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Dancing on Ice (series 12) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. AussieLegend () 08:53, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Do not recreate articles that have been draftified in article space. Instead, fix the identified problems in the draft article and when these are fixed, submit it for review so that it can be moved to article space. The version that you created at Dancing on Ice (series 12) exbits the same problems as the version that was draftified. In fact, the problems have been made worse because you have added unsourced content. --AussieLegend () 08:57, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Regarding this edit summary, it does not matter if you think something is true, it must be verifiable, as you should be well aware of by now. In fact Wikipedia:Verifiability, which is a core policy, quite clearly states "Even if you're sure something is true, it must be verifiable before you can add it." That you are adding content with {{citation needed}} tags already attached,[7][8][9] indicates that you cannot verify the claims. If you were able to, then you should have added a citation. Given your history of recent disruptive editing and your apparent failure to learn from the warnings that you have been given, I have had to report your actions at WP:AIV. --AussieLegend () 08:24, 26 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • If Lisa George has been confirmed as you claim in this edit then you need to include a citation confirming it. As explained in Wikipedia:Verifiability, which you have obviously NOT bothered to read, "Any material that needs a source but does not have one may be removed." You cannot simply keep adding content to articles without ensuring that it is verifiable. --AussieLegend () 10:13, 26 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Dancing on Ice; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. AussieLegend () 10:21, 26 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, (List of The Story Makers episodes)[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, (List of The Story Makers episodes). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – List of The Story Makers episodes. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of The Story Makers episodes. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Gonnym (talk) 09:03, 16 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Junior Bake Off (series 5) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Junior Bake Off (series 5), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Your draft article, Draft:Wait For It..![edit]

Hello, Annamargarita0. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Wait For It..!".

Notice

The article Rhys Stephenson has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unlikely to be notable - all coverage I could find is routine for contestants on reality television shows and/or is in sources generally considered unreliable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. firefly ( t · c ) 10:19, 13 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

October 2021[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Ria Hebden. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). The article appears to be a copy of the draft, stripping attribution. Robert McClenon (talk) 05:34, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There is no such rule; contestants do not require a standalone article or even a redirect. Per WP:REDLINK, leaving their entries as a redlink is the best option since it encourages people to create their pages and expand the site. – DarkGlow • 15:47, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you continue to obey orders from a sockpuppet, you risk getting blocked from editing indefinitely. I know this from experience as the same happened to me. They are using you to perform edits for them; if you get asked by a brand new user to perform an edit for them, use your head and do not obey. The best way to prevent this is to request that your talk page is protected so you cannot be asked in future. – DarkGlow • 18:56, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page stalker) DarkGlow is right. You need to stop interacting with and carrying out work on the behalf of sock puppets. Ignore them and/or report them to either WP:AVI or WP:SOCK. They are using you to get around their block, and likely do not care if you lose your editing privileges. - JuneGloom07 Talk 21:53, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to be more explicit here. You have created Liberty Poole, Regan Gascoigne, Dancing on Ice (series 14), and Rhys Stephenson, all of which were copy-pasted from text dropped on your user talk page by confirmed socks. See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/ZestyLemonz. At the very least, these examples are violations of attribution requirements as detailed in WP:COPYWITHIN, which is something we take very seriously. Please stop doing this. If you continue to create pages with copy-pasted content which is not properly attributed, you will be blocked from editing. -- RoySmith (talk) 01:43, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Liberty Poole requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Page was written by a blocked sockpuppet (see diff)

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. – DarkGlow • 22:12, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Archive your talk page[edit]

Hello! I just wanted to request that you archive your user talk page. While it may not be bothersome to you, many editors have slow connections, and having a very large talk page can hamper communication. If you need help, just check out the guide over at Help:Archiving a talk page. Thanks! – DarkGlow • 20:16, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

The reason why you should unblock me because not only I wanted to help but I do add reliable sources to pages and I promise I will follow the Wikipedia rules and I also do add the correct information to all pages. Examples I added a reliable source once to Tipping Point Series 11 end date & also the return of Freddie Slater in EastEnders. https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/tv-listings/?ts=1654095600000 & https://www.theoldhamtimes.co.uk/news/20296061.bbc-eastenders-cast-jade-goodys-son-bobby-brazier-new-freddie-slater-role/?ref=twtrec And some sources I couldn't find because they were unreliable.Annamargarita0 (talk) 18:54, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As ToBeFree said below, you will need to give more detail. Please read what they have wrote and understand what you need to do. Simply appealing again (here or via UTRS) with simple "I will follow the rules" type arguments won't get you very far unfortunately. firefly ( t · c ) 16:46, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I believe that this was wrong to block me so the reason why you should unblock me because I always add the correct information to every single page as I never vandalised any page. I also keep pages updated regularly as well as adding the sources. Examples for sources like the Tipping Point Series 11 end date & the dances to the Strictly pages on the dance chart mainly from the BBC website. Examples of links I mentioned of the sources are these https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/tv-listings/?ts=1654095600000 & https://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/strictlycomedancing/entries/ac29167f-e240-41a2-9785-214924a303d0. So that's why you should unblock me because I always keep pages updated because if they weren't, they will stay outdated forever and I won't be able to edit anymore. And I also do apologise for disruptive editing on biographies of living people & I will make sure it won't happen again in the future. Annamargarita0 (talk) 17:00, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

(moved from your edited comment above to fix the chronology ~ ToBeFree) & also the return of Freddie Slater in EastEnders.

Thank you very much. Okay, so we're talking about Special:Diff/1089432475 and Special:Diff/1099608758. Both times, you had provided sources after having been reverted for adding unsourced content to the same article ([10], [11] [12] [13]). In the second example, you had even initially ignored and removed a HTML comment asking for sources.
You may now see the problem, at least after having had to find some of the apparently few examples where you have actually provided a source... after having been asked to, after having been reverted.
Sadly, your current unblock request text does not yet demonstrate your understanding of the problem. Noone is questioning that you wanted to help. What you did is not vandalism; you edited with a genuine intention of improving the encyclopedia. I'm relatively certain that everyone is recognizing this. The promise to "follow the Wikipedia rules" (which "rules" are you talking about, even? Do you have specific policies or guidelines in mind?) seems to have been quickly made without an actual understanding of the problem. And while your intent to provide "correct information" is somehow commendable, Wikipedia is built on verifiability, not "correctness". Because everyone thinks they're correct, and many are wrong, the mere intention to provide "correct information" isn't worth an unblock by itself. You'll need to provide actual arguments: What led to the block, how can we be certain that it won't happen again, and which helpful edits are currently prevented by the block? Perhaps you could provide an example or two of a well-sourced contribution that you would like to make (where, what exactly?). This makes the decision to unblock much, much easier.
You're welcome to edit your unblock request, perhaps replacing its entire current text, to address these concerns. I recommend doing so, but someone else will review it. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:41, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Important information[edit]

Hi Annamargarita0, you seem to have disruptively ignored community concerns voiced here on your talk page, for years. Any unblock request needs to address this issue.

Additionally, please note:

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Best regards,
