A tag has been placed on Larry Andre requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Larry Andre 22:15, 27 May 2010 (UTC) Andre 39 is a generic username, and in no way is a conflict of interest implied in the article. I am unaffiliated with Mr. Andre. Mr. Andre is the only Republican candidate for the 39th District seat of the United States Congress. He has already won the primary, and will be running against Linda Sanchez in November. People seeking unbiased general background information on the Republican candidate's life could use Wikipedia. Does that not warrant a page? If you want more personal information about me, I will provide it, but I thought it was suggested that we not provide it when creating a page. Please advise? Thanks.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Andre39 (talkcontribs)
You can't see it? Larry Andre is running for 39th District seat, and Andre39 is writing about him but is unaffiliated with him and has no conflict of interest? I find that hard to believe. And no, articles need to pass our notabilities guidelines. What people want to read has nothing to do with a subject's notability. We are not a free web space. We are an encyclopedia. Please read these policies: WP:N, WP:POLITICIAN, WP:COI, WP:NPOV, WP:V, WP:AUTOBIO, and WP:RS. - UtherSRG (talk) 03:58, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Larry Andre 18:49, 31 May 2010 (UTC)I understand, but you are wrong about the conflict of interest part of what you said, and you could have made your point effectively without accusing me of fabrication. Especially since it isn't true.
