In response to your feedback[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, Andomedium! I'm Brambleberry, an experienced editor. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or go to the Teahouse, where there are other experienced editors who will help with questions you have. You may be interested in reading Wikipedia:Tutorial, Wikipedia:Writing better articles, and Wikipedia:The five pillars. I'm glad that you have a role model to strive for, and I'd encourage you to keep editing (constructively) until you become a role model for someone else! Happy editing!

You shouldn't leave Wikipedia because of one editor. Just keep editing constructively, and you should be fine.

Hey[edit]

Hi Andomedium, I have only just noticed that invisible post, and now see that you haven't edited since July. You have no email address in your preferences, so I'm leaving this note in the hope that you see it. You're exactly the kind of editor the project needs going into the future, so I hope that, if you were enjoying editing, you won't let your experience with one or two editors affect that enjoyment. If there's anything I can do to help in future, please drop me an email or a note on my talk page. All the best, SlimVirgin (talk) 18:02, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Also, if you do return, there's a project run by the Wikimedia Foundation called the TEAHOUSE, which is intended to offer support to new editors. You can leave comments and ask questions at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions, where several experienced editors help out by pointing people to the right policies/best practice, and offering general advice. They are really quite effective, so I hope if you return it might be of help to you. SlimVirgin (talk) 18:09, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

List of vegans[edit]

Hi Ando, Slimvirgin and I are trying to put the disputes on List of vegans behind us and move on in a more positive manner. We have made some suggestions at Talk:List of vegans#Looking ahead so if you are still around you are welcome to join us. Betty Logan (talk) 02:25, 27 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Matt Nicholls requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Insulam Simia (talk) 15:35, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The file File:Placeholder Image.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 20 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Flag of Placeholder.svg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. File source problem with File:Cecil Sharp.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Cecil Sharp.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged.
