I don't know how much expansion is needed. However, if not expanded, the article should merge/redirect to List of terrorist incidents, 2014. --George Ho (talk) 05:16, 17 December 2014 (UTC)

It actually shouldn't be merged, because it is notable on its own as shown by the reliable sources in the article, as well as other ones that can be found via a Google search. Andise1 (talk) 06:05, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
As I told you already, not all "notable" topics deserve a stand-alone article. A "notable" event can be suitable at one list or an article of a related topic per WP:MERGE. --George Ho (talk) 07:23, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
Yes, but this "topic" is notable on its own. Andise1 (talk) 17:24, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
The article must adhere to WP:NOT policy, including WP:NOTNEWS. If WP:N and WP:N(E) doesn't discourage this stand-alone article, perhaps a policy will. --George Ho (talk) 18:31, 17 December 2014 (UTC)

Illini articles

Just make sure the subjects meet WP:GNG as college players are not inherently notable. This would mean the players would need to be the subject of multiple independent media pieces that are about them as individuals, not just as members of the team. Generally things that are not permissible are things like articles published by the school, conference or recruiting sites (not independent), as well as game reports (eg "Bob Jones scored 23 for the visiting Tigers"). Also, please look at existing articles to understand formatting guidelines. I will fix these articles and add the relevant Wikiprojects to the Talk pages for now, but if you plan to create articles regularly you should learn the standards (things like "Eastlake High School" would display as "Eastlake (Eastlake, Iowa"). I'll research later and see if I have a personal opinion on their notability. Rikster2 (talk) 20:02, 2 January 2015 (UTC)

Thanks. I was basing the articles off of another college basketball article as I previously had not had much experience in creating college basketball articles. I know that college players are not inherently notable, but if I happen to see quite a bit of coverage on an individual, I will try to create an article on them. As for these two individuals, I had a bit of knowledge about them, and when I searched I saw articles that primarily covered them. Andise1 (talk) 20:30, 2 January 2015 (UTC)

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

Stitches (rapper)

Please familiarise yourself with the Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons policy - we do not assert that unconvicted individuals have distributed narcotics. Frankly, I have no idea why you have recreated this article anyway - the individual clearly doesn't meet WP:MUSICBIO, and he seems to have done nothing of note beyond engaging in self-publicity. AndyTheGrump (talk) 01:23, 20 April 2015 (UTC)

I created it because he has been the subject of numerous articles and based on the sufficient coverage I felt he warranted an article. The previous article on his was bad, but this article is better with many more sources. The drug information can be removed if it hasn't been already though. Andise1 (talk) 01:40, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
So what exactly are you suggesting is he notable for? It clearly isn't his music (he fails WP:MUSICBIO), and almost everything else seems to be a fabrication. AndyTheGrump (talk) 01:43, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
Music, because there are sources out there that talk about this. If there weren't any, I would not have created the article. I also reverted your edit and restored the criticism section, but removed the information on cocaine. The sources are there to show that he ends shows early. Andise1 (talk) 01:46, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
"Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent of the musician or ensemble itself." Andise1 (talk) 01:52, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
Which sources actually discuss his music though? From what I've seen the only thing they report in any depth is his fake 'drug dealer' persona. AndyTheGrump (talk) 01:53, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
I added some more sources and will continue to do so as I find them. Andise1 (talk) 02:11, 20 April 2015 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Cameron Dallas (Vine), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Since there is significant coverage on the subject of this article, and that coverage is shown in the article, I strongly suggest the article not be deleted. There is plenty of coverage on this individual, which is clearly evident if you look at the article. Whoever previously created the article probably did not include many sources, or created the article in an improper format, however I have done neither of those. Andise1 (talk) 04:07, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
I have restored the article based on the Deletion Review discussion, and moved it to Cameron Dallas where it belongs. I apologize; my deletion was hasty. You still might want to look at the DRV discussion, which contains some advice for future situations like this. --MelanieN (talk) 14:28, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
Thanks! I looked at the DRV discussion and realize I probably should have gone about creating the article a different way, but the way I did it was the only way I thought would work at the time. In the future I'll use the advice given. Andise1 (talk) 14:32, 27 May 2015 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Turnstile (band)

The article Turnstile (band) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG and WP:MUSICBIO. One of the sources is a brief mention of the band in relation to a tour. Three sources are essentially press releases for upcoming albums. Only one source goes into detail--an album review. I found other non-professional reviews online. Perhaps a case of WP:TOOSOON, but clearly does not meet notability criteria.

Information icon A tag has been placed on Christian Lee Hutson requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you. You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Please tell me otherwise and I will make changes so it meets the criteria, otherwise I ask you to remove the speedy deletion tag you placed on the article.Andise1 (talk) 21:58, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
