Editathon at Nashville Public Library[edit]

Let's find a good date for the editathon. I'm waiting to hear back from Pharos about the final date at the Schomburg Center about the date. I think Saturday, February 7th. But we'll see. I hope this works out! Clifford Anderson (talk) 19:56, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Great. We are definitely looking forward to it! Amwilliams15 (talk) 19:57, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Wonderful! I look forward to coordinating with you from NYC.--Pharos (talk) 15:54, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Callie House[edit]

First, great to see the work you have done at the Our Story matters Editathon. We are planning an Educational Repair Editathon for the end of April in London, and we are thinking of making work on the Callie House article one of our goals. One of the things we are interested in is impact. I checked the stats for visit to the page and noticed that there was a peak around 24th February. Have you any ideas what might have stimulated this? Fabian Tompsett (WMUK) (talk) 12:22, 30 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Fabian Tompsett (WMUK), thanks for reaching out! My best guess on why the spike occurred on February 24 is that the Black History Month Editathon Blog Post came out that day and linked to article as one of the examples that we did at the editathon. I am so pleased that you are interested in improving it! Let me know if you need anything else! Amwilliams15 (talk) 15:03, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for that, it shows the blog posts work. We have collected some articles from JSTOR for the event. We think Callie House is of international significance in terms of how she advocated pensions for formerly enslaved African Americans. Fabian Tompsett (WMUK) (talk) 08:17, 4 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
