The article ITIM: The Jewish-Life Information Center has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unsourced spam

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hairhorn (talk) 20:37, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Amirwolff – You may have noted that I have removed the Proposed For Deletion tag from the article: ITIM: The Jewish-Life Information Center. This in no way means that the article might not eventually be deleted, but there are a great many things you can do to prevent that. I believe there are probably sufficient 3rd party independent sources which will show this organization is notable. Your job as a new contributor to WP is two fold—learn WP guidelines and policies and improve this article. Use this article as a springboard to learning the ways of WP. Use it to become a better contributor. Whether it ultimately gets deleted or not, it will provide a good venue to learn about WP guidelines and policies. Your second job is to improve this article and bring it in line with WP guidelines. First and foremost, find and include reliable 3rd party sources that speak to the existence and history of the organization. Rewrite the article in a neutral style. Review similar articles to see how they are written and don’t hesitate to copy successful styles. Review the manuals of style guidelines to see how WP articles are organized.

You’ll note that I added a Project Template to the Discussion page for the Judism project. Projects are useful for linking up editors with common passions and interests. The members of the Judism project will be happy to help you improve the article if at all possible.

Finally, do not be discouraged if the article is ultimately deleted, it happens to all of us, especially when we are new editors. Your participation in WP is valued and your contributions will be valued. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask on my talk page. Sincerely.--Mike Cline (talk) 00:02, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
