Sorry, you can't A7 a film. A7 is people, groups of people, named animals and for some strange reason, web content. You can A7 Fred Bloggs, the Fred Bloggs Company, the Fred Bloggs Charity for Unemployed Cats, Fred Bloggs (the cat), or www.fredbloggs.cat. You can't A7 the BloggsCo Underarm Shaver for Cats, the annual ball held to raise funds for the Fred Bloggs Charity (unless it counts as spam), or Bloggus cattus, the Slobodian wild cat (a species). The shaver is a product - so is a film, play or book. There may be people in them, but they can't walk away. (OK, prisoners can't - you know what I mean.) I'd suggest prod - see if any of them are known people first. If they aren't, the 'drama' won't be. If they are, it still mightn't be - and there's WP:CRYSTAL. Peridon (talk) 22:15, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

New Page Patrolling[edit]

Hi. When you patrolled and passed Left By The Ship as OK for inclusion, I wonder if you had noticed that it was completely unreferenced? --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 14:44, 17 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

NPP[edit]

I see you added tags to Yeshiva Ketana of Long Island. Yes, it needs work, but it a good idea to wait a day or so before tagging articles. The new articles at Special: Newpages need some work, and the creator is sure of this, but is working on the article, and so there was no need to tag the article. re: your PROD proposal[edit]

We have started a discussion on the talk page (now in a section more clearly identified as to its discussion). You may wish to help determine the way forward for this article. Striblings[edit]

Stribs (talk · contribs) gives his name as Robert Stribley. In this edit ChristopherStribley (talk · contribs) mentions "my brother" so that is probably their relationship. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:58, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Alexander Belov (sergeant)[edit]

Hey Alphaswitch91. Just a note that I've declined your CSD here; being granted "Hero of the Soviet Union" is a claim of significance. Regards, Ironholds (talk) 00:39, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

New deal for page patrollers[edit]

Hi Alphaswitch91,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
