Some advice[edit]

Zion National Park is a featured article, and should be approached with care. It's a model for article development, and shouldn't be used as a home for material that's better off left on the Park Service website where it can be updated. Wikipedia is explicitly not a travel guide and should not include such material. It's an encyclopedia. See WP:NOTTRAVELGUIDE.

That said, you should look at the Zion article as a model for expanding and improving articles on NPS properties that are less well developed and referenced. Most, but not all of the major parks are already featured articles, so there's limited scope, but there are hundreds of other NPS properties that need attention.
