Hello, Lightbluerain! and thanks for the warm welcome. How did you know that I really love chocolate chip cookies?! I hope that I can be of some help in editing and writing. My immediate interest was rekindled recently when, in looking up some info on a particular plant--you see Horticulture is a big interest of mine--I came across one of its only references, which happened to be written in German. I thought that Google had an automatic translation function, but the English was Not one of the options listed. I thought that maybe I could get the ball rolling w an English translation w my basic German background and then op could join in and help finish it. Was I on the right track w that? @Alice B Klar, if you mean that you want to translate a German-language Wikipedia article to English, then yes, you can do this. Just go through the links in the above message to know how you can contribute here. Regards. Lightbluerain (Talk💬 Contribs✏️) 17:54, 11 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 15:54, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
