November 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm The Voidwalker. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Adidas— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. -- The Voidwalker Whispers 21:19, 7 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome![edit]

Hello, Alexandriarod21, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Please consult with your teacher[edit]

Hi Alexandriarod21. I can see that you are a student editor, and you are attempting to make edits to Adidas. At the moment, however, I can see you are having some difficulties with Wiki markup, and your edits are being reverted. I also note that you are directly editing live articles, and introducing grammar errors. I also note some offensive language has been introduced (and thankfully reverted). Please consult with your teacher, and make test edits to the draft workspace until you are confident in your knowledge of how to edit, and your spelling and grammar have been checked over by your teacher, and you have secured your log on space to ensure that nobody can edit under your name, and introduce offensive edits. We will withdraw your access to editing Wikipedia directly if problems keep occurring. While we encourage anyone to edit Wikipedia, unfortunately, not everyone is able to edit at the standard we require these days, see the essay Wikipedia:Competence is required. For information on draft editing, see Help:Userspace draft and Wikipedia:Drafts. SilkTork (talk) 19:21, 5 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
