G'day, cheers for the feedback on the article. Many have contributed to the article, with the offending "condescending" remarks added by Richardcavell Some of the information under the "Later years" heading I agree doesn't fit in to an encyclopedia nor does it fit in with the WP:NPOV policy. Feel free to take this discussion to the Talk:Austen Tayshus page. Cheers, Rogerthat Talk 07:01, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alex/Sandy/Austen,

You're welcome to describe what you think is wrong with the article. What we write there has to be encyclopedic and from a neutral point of view. It has to be verifiable. I don't think that wikipedians would be happy if you edited an article about yourself, but both Roger and I want to make the article correct.

I worked with you some years ago... I'm sure you don't remember me. But the fact that I did means that I need to be doubly careful not to be tainted, whether positively or negatively, in what I write. I accept that I've written unflattering things about you. But all of it is on the public record, and I assure you it's not meant to be an insult. You're still a highly successful celebrity, deservedly so. That's the thrust of the contributions that I've made. - Richardcavell 01:29, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
