Great service[edit]

I check this every day or two and review each article. After reviewing the new articles, most fall into one or more of these categories: they are added to WikiProject Minnesota, they get a prod tag, or they get some sort of cleanup tag. Thanks for providing the service.--Appraiser 19:38, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wow I didn't know you did that, thats pretty kickass Appraiser. I was just going to say I do the same thing but on a more like a quarterly basis. -Ravedave (talk) 04:30, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How does this work?[edit]

How does this bot operate? Meaning, what articles does it and does it not list? Just wondering..thanks. BobAmnertiopsisChitChat Me! 22:22, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I believe every entry contains the string, "minnesota" within the name, body, or references of the article.--Appraiser (talk) 12:42, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting. Because a couple of the articles I've written that included 'Minnesota' at least a couple of times. have been passed over... BobAmnertiopsisChitChat Me! 18:24, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think articles usually show up here about three days after creation. The rules are here.--Appraiser (talk) 18:35, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What the heck? I thought the thing told me to strike out articles that are clean? Didn't we just do that a few days ago on the first list. .:davumaya:. 21:24, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This list is just a bot-generated list of all new articles that contain the string, "Minnesota". They range from decent to terrible, but no judgment is made, and they automatically get archived after about a week. Are you confusing this list with a Project list of "problem" articles perhaps?--Appraiser (talk) 02:40, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The fourth bullet at Wikipedia:WikiProject Minnesota#New article patrol says to strike articles that have been reviewed. ~ Eóin (talk) 03:21, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Wow. I guess I've never read that before. I apologize. Feel free to continue reviewing and striking out.
On another note, I was thinking about going through all the archives here and adding {{WikiProject Minnesota}} on many of the articles that are related to the state or about people who are mainly Minnesotans. But I haven't been that ambitious yet.
Again, sorry for not knowing the procedure. I've been watching this page for a couple of years and you might be the first I've ever seen striking.--Appraiser (talk) 18:28, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
