Roseburg (Senior) High School[edit]

I was suggesting the merge go the other way around. Is it really "Roseburg Senior High School" and not simply "Roseburg High School"? Can you cite a source? Thanks. Katr67 21:18, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Uh oh. See my talk page. Katr67 21:26, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Africa articles[edit]

Hi Alangdon86, Thanks for helping out with the Africa coverage. Can I ask that, when fulfilling requests, that you create at a minimum a proper stub of at least one paragraph. A one-sentence stub that repeats information already on the wiki has minimal benefits to a reader. Also, please avoid using the Template:Stub unless you really have no idea what a more specific stub-type might be, as it creates unnecessary work for the stub-sorters. A list of Africa stubs, such as {{Tunisia-geo-stub}}, is maintained at WP:AFR. Thanks again for helping out with the Africa articles. - BanyanTree 01:01, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Alan, thanks also for writing Africa related articles, while I broadly agree with the very sensible advice offered above, in the case of WP:MISSING articles, I would suggest you shouldn't worry too much - other project participants will expand stubs. Thanks also, Addhoc 19:11, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article African Christian Union, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. I've removed the prod. Addhoc 19:36, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Richard Snyder[edit]

An editor has nominated Richard Snyder, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Richard Snyder and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 07:29, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Alangdon86! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 937 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Mind weighing in?[edit]

Alangdon86, I've seen you at LGBT-related articles, and want to know if you wouldn't mind weighing in on this: Talk:Heterosexualization#Not only an LGBT issue. I posted a message about it at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject LGBT studies, but I hardly get any help from there or other WikiProjects these days. So part of my approach these days is to go to relevant editors individually and hope they weigh in. Flyer22 (talk) 18:47, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
