I have removed the material which is too close a paraphrase of the SEBoK materials. While the Guide is a wiki and states that its material is free to use in some circumstances, the license they use, Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License, is not compatible with WIkipedia's which allows commercial reuse. Information icon Before adding a category to an article, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. Information icon Hello, I'm HJ Mitchell. I noticed that you recently removed content from Construction without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 07:35, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you mean the sectors. I planning on revising the entire sectors based on a reference book I had but I didn't have the time. I'm not rsally familoar in using the sandbox. The book separated environmental construction from industrial. Akiraneesama (talk) 10:07, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Construction management shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Hi @MrOllie. I'm trying to transclude a specific portion of the construction management page. Can you tell me why you don't like this? I don't think it affects the information in the page. Akiraneesama (talk) 20:22, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Building articles out of transcluded chunks of other articles should generally be avoided, outside of limited circumstances. Articles designed in that way are nearly impossible for new users to edit, and they will rapidly break things by innocently moving or removing include tags when editing the transcluded article. It will also not be apparent to them where to make changes when they attempt to edit the article which is transcluding content from elsewhere. All in all it is a bad idea. MrOllie (talk) 20:32, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I see. Thanks for explainjng. I'm sorry about the trouble. Akiraneesama (talk) 20:40, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
