There appears to be a user or group of users monitoring the Russia Today article and accusing me of vandalism. I need moderator assistance. Aiwen Zhang (talk) 09:22, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It's pretty clear that you aren't trying to vandalise the encyclopedia, so that accusation is completely baseless - I will leave the other editor a note. However, your edits could be seen to insert a slight bias into the article, and so should be discussed - you've made a good start by opening a thread on the article's talkpage, but having done so, don't interpret silence as tacit consent and change the article back to your preferred version. If you don't get a response from the other editor(s) within a reasonable timeframe, or if it's clear that you are never going to see eye-to-eye, then you might want to consider invoking one of the Wikipedia's dispute resolution processes - for this particular discussion, I'd recommend requesting a third opinion.
Above all, remember that Wikipedia is governed by consensus - if it's made clear that your edits are not going to be accepted (by multiple other editiors) or if it can be shown that they violate one of Wikipedia's policies or guidelines, then you're going to have to accept the article the way it is. Lay out your case on the talkpage, ask for a third opinion or other dispute resolution process, and see what consensus emerges. Yunshui  11:31, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi there,
There seems to be only one IP who reverted your edits. Another uninvolved editor has reverted them, and the article is as you last edited it. I've also watchlisted the page, just in case it needs an extra set of eyes to watch.
Please feel free to contact me if you need any help.
Regards,

    • There has been a discussion started at the RT talk page. Please participate in it with your rationale for removal of the names so it can be discussed. TheOriginalSoni (talk) 20:17, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
