Harrassment of New Users[edit]

Thank you so much for your help in dealng with B2bomber81. I appreciate that there are official avenues to deal with threatening and harrassment instead of the tit for tat that is exhibited by so many members. I think it's refreshing to know that there is a solid majority of users who welcome new users and encourage their contributions. Again thank you and good luck. --Memejojo 00:10, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Remember when I wrote that the key witness Kujtim Berisa was killed under mysterious circumstances?

Right now the chief prosecutor Carla del Ponte said that (Ramush's trial [re]starts) that the "criminal gangster that has on his hand blood of many innocent people" is, due to the fact that he was released from prison to await trial and allowed to practice politics (be Prime Minister of Kosovo) has been using his supporters to threaten, execute and root out all witnesses against him; using his criminal links, political might as the sovereign of Kosovo and numerous funds (millions and millions of dollars; which are also gathered to finance his defense) from the Kosovo treasury.

So far 10 witnesses have been mysteriously murdered. Carla del Ponte announced that she might have to drop charges and set free this mass murderer because of the poor witness protection program and the immense power and influence Ramush has, even in the international circles. --PaxEquilibrium 22:11, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your Name.[edit]

It seems that I was the only one who spelled your name correctly with the discussion over Senor jew hat's username. Don't worry, a lot of people spell my name wrong too. Acalamari 00:06, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Account Creation Disabled[edit]

That's been nagging at me for awhile, thanks for the reminder -- will update my scripts. – Luna Santin (talk) 00:50, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Hopefully the small gaggle of people who copied that particular script will follow suit. – Luna Santin (talk) 03:02, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I removed the speedy tags you placed on Type2error, as I feel that winning an award is a definite assertion of notability. The Kinslayer 15:42, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RFCN[edit]

Please read WP:U and the header at the top of WP:RFCN. Please start asking the new user to change their user name first, rather than opening an RFC on their user name and telling them. There is a template that can help you do this, {{UsernameConcern}}. Neil (not Proto ►) 16:27, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reference[edit]

Here's the translation that a friend did for me:

18.02.2007

Nephew of the late Berisha confirmed to "Vijesti" that his uncle was supposed to witness against Haradinaj. Kujtim never complained because of the Hague.

The young man confirmed to Vijesti that his uncle was a witness in the case of Haradinaj, but he also stated that Berisha never complained that he had any problems because of that.

They were hit with "Mercedes 190" driven by Aleksandar Ristovic (26) who is charged by the Police for serious endangering of security in traffic. Ristovic will remain under custody for 30 days as determined by Judge Dujovic from Podgorica Court of Appeals. A source from Police told us that during the investigation, it has been confirmed that at the moment of accident Ristovic was drunk – driving at a very high speed . Ristovic tried to defend himself by saying that he lost control over the vehicle as a result of lights from the other direction that blinded him.

I'm trying to get one of the Serbian editors to do a seperate translation, to make sure that the above is accurate, but I think it is. Unfortunately I don't speak Serbian myself, but it shouldn't be too difficult to work out which sentence relates to which in the article.

Hope that helps. Davu.leon 16:38, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to bore everybody[edit]

Sorry about that source citing spree I went on, but what really go my gout is that precisely what we don't want to happen in Wikipedia happened... I am a Dr. jur. and therefore I know that these laws don't exist ... well they do and I know about it circumstantially because I wrote an article on transferring non-European academic titles for a Expat magazine about ten years ago... AlfPhotoman 00:15, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • sorry should have put the "I am Dr... in quotes".. no that was the argument of the other party involved in this thing AlfPhotoman 00:20, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I liked that photo[edit]

Come on... I liked that photo of Jos Verstappen compressed between the two orange sponges... if you don't like it, can you at least put up another one so it doesn't remain photoless? Bubby the Tour G 19:43, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thoth conduct[edit]

I have started an RfAr against Thoth conduct. [1] You may want to comment. Since I'll be living and that I won't be watching that article, I hope the Arbcom will settle the problem of the uses of that articles talkpage as a soapbox once for all, this at least will bring people to discuss the article and how to improve it rather than worthless debates.
