Tomb of Amin Khan

Hello Aisha, hope you are doing well. I would like to ask your help. Since you are a person interested in Indian history, I want you to have a look at this. This draft is currently submitted at AFC and I am reviewing it. But I have a doubt. Is Amin Khan Aitigin and the subject in this draft the same persons? Both are different persons right? If they are the same, I need to decline the draft and merge it together. I hope you will be able to help me. Regards. Kichu🐘 Need any help? 00:46, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

A quick read appears to that both are different, while one was the governor of golkunda sultanate having its roots in bahmani kingdom of south india, another is the governor of bengal. It is possible that same person could be transferred there but we may go by timeline here. The golkunda sultanate existed during 1400s-1500s roughly after the breakup of Bahmani kingdom ,while the mameluk dynasty was active in 1200s. These are not same person, we have different person of same name as popular historic figure, which leads to confusion. Heba Aisha (talk) 00:55, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
Thankyou Aisha. Please remember to ping other users when you are replying to them so that they gey notified. Happy editing:) Kichu🐘 Need any help? 03:45, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

Hii Heba Aisha, I need a small help as I went through your user page and really like your way of representation of Service Award section. However, When I created the same on my user page I couldn't kept Service Award section apart from other bits like Autoconfirmed rights status, cricket fan hobbies etc and it all merge in 1 long section like your page but i want separate box for both sections. Can you please make a template for me in which i can keep a separate box for service awards (with Pink Colour) & other box for other things (like Account status, edit count, cricket fan etc). Will be thankful, If you provide a written template in these dicussion soon.Holy Contributor 92 (talk) 11:30, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

About a page creation

Dear Heba Aisha, You are doing amazing work for wikipedia and you have created many pages of some politician from Bihar. I requested to you that you should create a page Uday Mandal because many people is searching about him on net. And he is a popular political leader in Bihar. You can check it out about him https://facebook.com/uday88mandal and https://m.livehindustan.com/bihar/madhubani/story-demonstrated-against-inflation-and-unemployment-3937699.amp.html there are many sources on net you can chek it out and please creat a page about him so people can find him on wikipedia. Thank you so much

It will be deleted as topic should be WP:Notable and WP:NPOL says one should be elected officeholder to become notable as per definition of Wikipedia. Heba Aisha (talk) 08:53, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

Don't delete Tintanga Estate

Hey heba aisha I belong from the same region in which Tintanga Estate is ie Naugachia so I can assure you that information given in this arcticle is correct and useful I'll try to improve it more and add reliable citations there are many thesis and books which mentions Tintanga Estate but I am not getting them online as soon as I will find those sources I will add them please don't delete it its my Humble request the ref no 2 by Dr R kumari has a pdf which was published in Bnmu madhepura By Dr R kumari dept of History you can confirm the information given in this page from there also Ramesh mishra Naugachia (talk) 07:32, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

Brother, we need high quality source to write an article. Hindi Wikipedia is unregulated and I see there people write anything without source. But a lot of rules apply to write an article on english one. The sources should be third party and independent. The Titanga estate has sources which are from website of places owned by rulers of estate, which we call WP:SPS. Its not allowed as we want to maintain the faith of our readers in our articles. I am sympathetic to you and others who are doing some work but, creating seperate article for topics which donot fulfill WP:GNG is a bad idea. You may add one or two line info with the few source in a article like in Yadav Clans, and avoid writing stubs like about the estates You ppl are doing. Heba Aisha (talk) 07:38, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
Mam everyone in the whole region of Bhagalpur, purnea and Madhepura knows about Tintanga and Murho The both were relatives also Daughter of Ras bechari Babu was married with son of Santlal. Each and everyone from all the castes know about them in their region so they are Notable in their region I am from Brahmin caste and live in a Brahmin village known as saidpur in NAUGACHIA But still here in our village also everyone knows about Maheshwari Babu so they can be called as notable people and I will add proper reference soon i have reference in offline form I m not getting it online as soon as I will get that I will add it. I see, will check later. Basically my concerns are regarding the poor articles from India. People come here and without knowing policy create small articles also called stub, which are like garbage for encyclopedia. Just check this Blitzkrieg. See, how good articles are contributed from west (USA, Europe). Follow them, see the length, writing style, keep everything encyclopedic. Heba Aisha (talk) 09:12, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

Don’t delete Tintanga Estate

Brother, keep the article encyclopedic. Please read the article about other such estates to see, how a good article looks like. Adding the information like he has patrol pump etc etc amounts to violation of neutral point of view. In such case someone will revert that even if it is sourced. The article's content need to be encyclopedic. Heba Aisha (talk) 08:49, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

You are targeting a specific community

I have noticed that you have problem with a specific caste and community and you’re removing articles related to Them I have mailed. Wikipedia and also reported your account here for vandalising and targeting a specific community HindustaniHindu (talk) 11:57, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

Thanks, go ahead, actually that specific community related articles are at disruptive mode right now. Few days before, another caste article faced the same. But, they forget, its not a place for caste promotion and the basic problem is they fail to read long list of our policies and see us as monopolising everything. Heba Aisha (talk) 12:00, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

What your rules you are nothing but an ordinary editor like us who is just a little bit old user and don’t forget I am chandraveer urs we are rulers of Karnataka and you are From History thief thing who stole history of Rajasthani Ruling community but Bihari descendants of sri k have estates like Nazurgunj, murho and dominate the whole Bihar state that’s why you’re jealous of them HindustaniHindu (talk) 12:19, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

Raj Nazarganj was a rich Zamindari estate and is still present. Raj Mohan Lal of this riyasat fought the battle of Plassey along with Daulah . He was a close friend of Daulah Vrishni (talk) 21:38, 17 April 2021 (UTC)

How many sources you can find for them, since written records are almost nil, they are considered non notable for wikipedia. See WP:Notability. Heba Aisha (talk) 21:41, 17 April 2021 (UTC)

There are the ruins of the palace. The family descendents are still present. They were among the founders and hosted Yadavas Mahasabha. Vrishni (talk) 21:48, 17 April 2021 (UTC)

Have they found mention in books, newspaper articles and magazine. Why don't you click link of notability i shared above to read, what is requirement of a seperate article. Blame not us, but the people who didn't mention them in writings. If someone had written their history, they had easily founded place here. Whitewashing of history by caste warriors.

Hi Heba and LukeEmily, there's been continuous vandalism on Hindi Wikipedia, being done under sole purpose of cherry picking good things and hiding of facts on pages like Rajput, Banaphar, Alha, Udal, etc for the sake of whitewashing the reality. Please stop disruptive editing. Your recent edits on Biharis dated 16 May, 21 May and 6 June don't appear constructive. Its evident that all these edits were directed at restoring the Bihari fisherman image which I have removed from the page thrice giving proper edit summary. Me and LukeEmily had already made it clear on Talk:Rajput that the image isn't fit for Wikipedia platform and hence, it won't be used. Still, you didn't care to give any proper edit summary and reverted to your preferred versions saying "disruptive editing reversed". If you think my image removal was disruptive, you should have explained how. You have been reminded of WP:OWN repeatedly but still you don't seem to be understanding. I am removing the image for the last time considering that you won't make similar restoration again. Shinjoya (talk) 09:28, 6 June 2021 (UTC)

Politics in Bihar disruptive reversion

Hi

I had made very painstaking addition of relevant information to [of Bihar] which was a completely neutral and factual addition. In fact, this was added with relevant citations from BBC and other reputed sources. But it appears that you have reverted those changes saying "Useless changes reverted". I strongly denounce this action. If you had a problem, you could have added a comment on the "Talk Page" where I had made an edit to the page.

I checked your page and see you have done a lot of good work over the time, especially for Bihar pages. But it also appears that you have reminded of WP:OWN repeatedly and you seem to forget the collaborative nature of Wikipedia. I request you to undo your undo, or give a good reason for doing as such. I will wait 3 days for your response, otherwise I will make the undo myself.

Hi, good contribution are always welcomed. Please, summarise the changes you made in the article here. I think unintentionally you removed some content. We can fix it together. Also, let me remind you of WP:CIR, in your version, the links were broken at many place. In introduction itself, the link to Vikassheel Insaan Party etc were deteriorated and it appeared that someone has demaged the article. Please, put in points the content which you removed or added and changes you made or you want to make here. Heba Aisha (talk) 12:26, 31 July 2021 (UTC)

o Thanks for the reply. I will summarize those points in the Talk Section of the Page, which I feel is a more appropriate platform. I am planning to do it in some time. Hparashar1520 (talk) 13:33, 31 July 2021 (UTC)

Why I am blocked ?

Hi, Kuru and Bishonen, sorry to disturb both of you. But, I am not active nowadays and I don't know, why I am blocked. I think it was directed towards someone else as the accusations of posting spam links are not true for me. Please, check the issue, I think Kuru was doing this for some ip users and by mistake I was blocked. I am able to edit only my talk page, that's y bringing all of you here. Heba Aisha (talk) 05:01, 18 November 2021 (UTC)

Heba, according to the log, you are not blocked.[1] You must have been caught in an autoblock. I'm not good with this... but I think if you tell me exactly what your block message says, I'll be able to fix it. What I need is a number of the form #12345678. Is there one? Bishonen | tålk 07:43, 18 November 2021 (UTC).
Howdy, Heba. Apologies for any inconvenience. I think Bishonen is on the right track; this is likely residual from a block placed on a named account. There is an "autoblock" that is placed behind the scenes on the underlying IP address. If you give us that number, we can clear it quickly for you. You can also just wait it out - the autoblocks are for a relatively short period of time (usually 24 hours). Happy to help. Kuru (talk) 12:30, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
Yeah, Kuru and Bishonen, the blocking message shows a number, #11824613. This is the one. Hope it was helpful.Thank you both. Will soon return to contribute here. Heba Aisha (talk) 16:46, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
Yes, it was; I found this. Kuru, apparently it's from a rangeblock of yours. I'm not sure how to let Heba out without undoing the whole thing, which is probably not desirable. You'd better deal with it. Bishonen | tålk 17:25, 18 November 2021 (UTC).
Since it wasn't an autoblock, but a hardblock, then WP:IPBE is probably the best way (assuming hardblocking was intentional, which I think it was). Block has about half a year to go. --Floquenbeam (talk) 17:46, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
[Pathetically:] Floquenbeam, I don't understand how to do that. It's a mystery. You do it! Don't drive by! [Pointedly:] You know only one of us does rangeblocks, and it ain't you. Please do this instead. Please? Kuru isn't editing now. Bishonen | tålk 20:33, 18 November 2021 (UTC).
This was more for @Kuru:, I just forgot to ping. For some reason I don't understand, people around here take IPBE a LOT more serious than I really think they need to, so I'm supposed to get the OK from the blocking admin or CU before giving out the IPBE right. Now that Kuru knows which block this is, they can either give IPBE themselves, or I'll do it once I get an OK. My understanding from Heba's comment above is that this isn't a rush; if I misunderstood and she wants to be able to edit right now, and Kuru isn't around, then I'll go out on a limb. But otherwise I'd like to wait for a bit. Heba, let me know if I misunderstood. --Floquenbeam (talk) 20:53, 18 November 2021 (UTC)

Thank you guys, Floquenbeam and Bishonen for giving your precious time here. I am unblocked now and able to edit. Thanks a lot. Heba Aisha (talk) 22:55, 18 November 2021 (UTC)

That's a really ugly one, but it's easy enough to spot the named accounts that show up doing that type of activity. It's easier for me to handle them one-by-one than it is for you to be inconvenienced, so I've removed the part of the range block that prevents named accounts from editing from that range. Really sorry you were impacted. Kuru (talk) 23:05, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
Thank you for quick response Kuru. Happy editing. Heba Aisha (talk) 23:08, 18 November 2021 (UTC)

A question for you sir ?

Sir what you think of when some editors creating cast base wiki page and mentioned there Varna by simply based on some journal and some books by British author. Is there any documents where you can relate the vadic period varna system to the cast system which was actually created in the time of British rule. This is not a good sign for India. Should be addressed as soon as possible. When we try to progress our society this type of content will take us back. Hope you are mature enough sir . Of you want I will mention the name of the editor. S Das0406 (talk) 19:01, 30 December 2021 (UTC)

Hello

Hi Heba, Hope you are doing well. Not sure if you are watching all the pages you edited, but I noticed that the Mallah fishermen image you had added was removed from Rajputization . It is currently not being used anywhere in any article. Please see this edit [2]. LukeEmily (talk) 20:33, 7 March 2022 (UTC)

Hi Heba, please can you add Bihari Rajput to your watchlist? I noticed someone deleted some quotes and William Pinch's source. Are Bihari Rajputs also in Awadh?LukeEmily (talk) 23:41, 13 April 2022 (UTC)

Just piggybacking this thread to make a suggestion, even though you are much more experienced in this area than me. Please don't get baited into drawn out discussions by civil POV pushers. I do not think any amount of convincing will result in eliciting any compromise from somebody who has made up their mind to remove all negative things about their community. Hemantha (talk) 04:03, 16 June 2022 (UTC)

Hemantha, i wanted to avoid the futile discussion as three editors were tagging me and reverting me on Rajput related pages continuously. They were filling my talk page with notices and trying to impose sanction on me by making me involved in edit wars. I know the content was sourced from high quality sources, but i wanted to end that discussion as i realised that i couldn't tolerate the "n" numbers of comment without the backing of any reference from those editors, who are admant to remove things which appear negative to them.RuudVanClerk is blocked now, who was also involved in reverting me and sending lot of notices on my talk page along with other two. He was booked under WP:GS/CASTE, as he was involved in removing the sourced content from Rajput related pages.Admantine123 (talk) 04:18, 16 June 2022 (UTC)

Note regarding Rajput-related articles and editing

Heba Aisha, as you may have noticed I have over the past day responded to complaints and issues stemming from Rajput-related articles at various venues including my talkpage, ANEW, ANI, Talk:Rajput and Talk:Zamindars of Bihar. I am dropping this note to you (and other involved editors) in order to remind you all of the WP:GSCASTE and WP:ARBIPA discretionary sanctions applicable to this subject area, and since the edit-warring, grievance collection and tit-for-tat complaining that I have observed has become disruptive. Setting aside the questions of past interactions and who-is-more-to-blame for now, please try to model your individual editing (which you alone control!) in the future to be in line with wikipedia's content and conduct policies and best practices. Abecedare (talk) 19:11, 4 May 2022 (UTC)

PS: You may want to consider setting up automatic archiving for your talkpage. Cheers. Abecedare (talk) 19:17, 4 May 2022 (UTC)

Thanks for starting the RFC. Note that the RFCs often run 30+ days and their point is mainly to get a diversity of opinions. So I'd advice you to articulate the reasons you support or oppose the inclusion of the image once as best as you can and then largely let others voice their opinion. If the RFC became a lengthy back-and-forth between the same 2-3 editos as the previous discussion that would only discourage others from participating, and make it harder to resolve the issue. Pinging @RS6784: since the same applies to them too. Abecedare (talk) 12:27, 10 May 2022 (UTC)

Lead of Koeri page

You reverted my edit, citing some edit by some editor on another page, can you please state the exact rule which prohibits me from doing this? The statement sounded more plausible to me as "lower" aspired to become "higher" through Sanskritisation, and it is mentioned in the Sanskritisation article as well. Also, what's the issue if the word "higher" is present, "lower" can also be used!? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iamritwikaryan (talkcontribs) 11:28, 15 June 2022 (UTC)

Why are you linking the "Rajput community" page with that of title 'Rajput' used by some other people from 19th century in Mauritius. The preceding para already mentioned that societal structure is different in Mauritius in India. Belchhi massacre moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Belchhi massacre, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Name change of the article

Hi, why did you changed the name Rajputs in Bihar to Bihari Rajput without taking it to talk page ? There is no term called as Bihari Rajputs in academic circles, Bihar was an state itself created just 120 yrs ago as a result of Bengal division. Atleast before making such changes you must take it to talk page, and your reasoning for it are very flawed, caste history in Bihar is not any special to other states as explained by Marika Vicziany in her book. Akalanka820 (talk) 04:24, 5 August 2022 (UTC)

the OG mover might have its own reasons, and he might got banned or blocked for his actions. That doesn't mean you start moving the page as per your wish without taking it to talk page. Akalanka820 (talk) 04:26, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
Rather than questioning word "Bihari Ahir" which is definitely not a community specific but more like individual's choice of title. You are moving pages with perfect name. And if you got problem with Rajputs of Bihar being separate page and other state don't have any such, better ask for merger with main Rajput article. Akalanka820 (talk) 04:30, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
I don't think it was discussed by him too, and you or any other editor also never said anything on this. Word "Bihari" perfectly denotes from Bihar and many articles related to Bihar start from same term.I found the title more suitable and just restored it to original version as the blocked editor moved it when two three people were trying to get me into edit war and i was busy responding them. Admantine123 (talk) 05:10, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
Wait a minute, didn't you created an article just now named Dalits in Bihar, I didn't discussed it but as per talk page, there was some issue involving multiple editors, it seems the title was changed without no objection. The point is title is better than the name change you propose reason being the state was formed 120 yrs back. Come on as per talk page it is clear that there was discussion with you on some matter involving multiple editors not only one. And lastly, it looks like one user named Hemantha who was very active on the page is also blocked that too for socking by Arbcom. Akalanka820 (talk) 05:59, 5 August 2022 (UTC)

Leave it, i don't have any bigger issue in both the names, considering Bihari Ahir, i changed it to Bihari Rajputs as that article is about a single community. If anyone want to change it back, i don't have harsh necessity to stop him from doing so. I have other works too, let it be.I am keeping myself out of this debate on the naming of that particular article. Bye-Admantine123 (talk) 06:22, 5 August 2022 (UTC)

@Admantine123 and Akalanka820:, since you have been working on Dalits in Bihar, please can you create any consensus version on the Bihari Rajputs for the rape related issue? Some IP posted a threat(which is against wikipedia policy as per WP:LEGAL, IP should be blocked) - but IP does have a point. If all communities are involved, why blame only Rajputs? Based on the new sources added it does look that it was more of a landlord issue and not a Rajput caste issue. Brahmins and Kayasthas were more into government jobs, possibly in the urban areas, where exploitation was not possible. Also, those communities are numerically very small hence they might not have been studied much. It is unlikely that a Rajput goverment employee or school teacher living in an urban area would be involved in rape or Dola Pratha etc. Rajputs and Bhumihars were mostly landowners in the Rural areas where exploitation of women was easier. Other upper castes like Brahmins and Kayasthas were absent (or less) hence studies do not mention them. My suggestion is to reduce that rape issue to 2-3 sentences and move more details to the Dalits article. The common factor is Dalits and not just Rajputs but all castes exploited them. Akalanka820, I have not been looking at that page. Please do what you and Admantine123 and other editors see fit. I am busy with other pages and am planning a new page on "atrocities on Brahmins" and gathering material on it. Not interested in Rajput pages at the moment and have not been looking at any Rajput matrial for at least a month. Please can you resove it with consensus from other editors and remove the tag?.LukeEmily (talk) 16:43, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
replying to the above, I tried after a similar request on my talk page and I knew what had happened, later I had to observe a complete goalpost changing and was put into question after I took that initiative. I knew that episode very well. I will only go ahead, if there is clear yes from the editors who had objections. Thank you Akalanka820 (talk) 17:10, 6 August 2022 (UTC)

I have already elaborated on Dalits in Bihar article and i think we had two versions there on talk page. Akalanka was agreeing to first version, which can replace the present content which i put on Dalit article. I am agreeing on putting any one of the version suggested on talk page, not complete overhaul. Please see, (specially for Akalanka) don't remove the rape word and don't try to reduce the whole stuff into what you did last time, when you misunderstood my statement. Hemantha is blocked, but his trimmed version was good. Also, articles portraying Russians of raping German women are there, Putin have not dropped atomic bomb there yet. You may go Akalanka, replace it with trimmed version as i don't like tags (plz remove tag after that) -Admantine123 (talk) 19:02, 6 August 2022 (UTC)

Don't reduce the whole part- Then why I have been pinged here. Please request both of you not to come up with absurd comparisons with WWII or this community didn't do it. It sounds illogical, similarly another editor commenting xyz community not doing it when in fact I shared a reference on the same lines, there is more to it. I would request for no bait and trap tactics. Past experience makes it clear. Akalanka820 (talk) 04:27, 7 August 2022 (UTC)

He just expressed his view that rape content should be reduced to two line and version of Hemantha had the same. You may interpret removal of rape word and dilution of it to sexual harrasment like you did before.Just read the comment on talk page of Rajput in Bihar.

But at the same time, we cannot whitewash atrocities on Indian(or other) women and the sources do mention Rajputs

. There is no tactics at all.Trimmed Version 1 is okay, as it mention rape in last 2 lines, and describes permanent settlement and all in rest. I am okay with that, and you were also supporting it earlier. This is my final take on that article. -Admantine123 (talk) 10:43, 7 August 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Murao people

Hello Admantine123,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Murao people for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
