Copyright issue with Systemic Theory[edit]

Hello. Concerning your contribution, Systemic Theory, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. Hello Rick, my name is Oswaldo and I'm assisting Daniele -who is my friend- who initiated this action. Neither of us are involved with Adaptogenos. In fact, Daniele was keen in making this known since he was succesfully treated with this medicine. He rather not talk about this last. On any case he requested permission from Jose Olalde to publish the information as well as to use the images and text published in eCAM. Please help us out on as how to achieve this. For starters is this the right way to get in touch with you? Also, somebody else already included in Wikipedia (Spanish) the term adaptogeno to which Daniele added some other useful terms. Oswaldo - OK. Now I'm confused. From the above it sounds like you're saying you're the owner of the copyrights to these articles. Unless you're Jose Olalde Rangel I think this cannot be true. Perhaps you've contacted Olalde Rangel and asked for permission to reuse this content at Wikipedia? If so, to do this you have to send an email to permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org (as explained at Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission). Because of how Wikipedia's content is licensed, if you do this you have to make it very clear to Olalde Rangel that this request is not for your personal use and not simply for republishing at Wiipedia, but to allow anyone to republish the content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License (Wikipedia's content is "free" in the sense that anyone can republish it or a changed copy, for any reason, as long as they in turn allow anyone else to republish their version). The licensing terms at http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?artid=1142194 (not for commerical use, etc.) are NOT good enough. Wikipedia's license allows commercial reuse, as long as the reuse is under the terms of the GFDL.

The page linked about shows you as the co-author, which brings up the Wikipedia:Conflict of interest issues I previously mentioned. Again, it is far better to let someone else write about you or your work than for you to write about these things yourself. Contributing to articles about your own work, particularly creating new articles about yourself or your work, is highly discouraged. I'd suggest you let someone else, not as deeply involved as you appear to be, create and edit articles on this topic - although please feel free to contribute in other areas.
