Re: Access

Valereee - I would like to come back. I'm not interested in "moving" articles. I'm not really any good at doing whatever that thing is called in order to get my access back. Adamdaley (talk) 03:25, 25 May 2023 (UTC)

All you need to do is
  1. Copy this code: {{unblock | reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
  2. Open a new section here and paste it in
  3. Replace "Your reason here" with your unblock request
  4. Hit reply or publish changes, depending on how you started the section. It automatically signs for you. (I'm not actually great with templates I've never used either, but if you malform it somehow, any talk page watcher who comes along is welcome to fix it.)
That automatically places your unblock request into a category other admins will see. I'm not going to work on this any further myself but let other admins respond; for their convenience, the relevant archive is October 22.
Important: Adam, I strongly recommend you read the instructions and advice at WP:GAB before doing this. I know the advice there is a lot to take in, so if there's anything you don't understand, ask questions first. Valereee (talk) 10:21, 26 May 2023 (UTC)

Request reason:

I understand completely that I was blocked for several reasons. I have no intentions of going back to do what I was blocked for. Prior to my blocking, I was happy that I could edit Wikipedia. It's been several months and a little longer than normal my block has expired. I mean saying this that it has been some weeks that I added to my block because I was unsure if I wanted to come back or not, this is why I the added several weeks later and that I'm doing this now. In my time away from Wikipedia, I have found other things to do from day-to-day. Yes, the situation from last year is still continuing. Would like to be given the chance to have my access restored and if it does, I won't be crazily editing again like I was. Once again, I would like to be given the opportunity to access Wikipedia again and possibly expire new avenues to make my time worthwhile on Wikipedia. Adamdaley (talk) 22:52, 26 May 2023 (UTC)

Decline reason:

The stated reason for the block is violating your topic ban, but you do not really discuss that in this request. 331dot (talk) 08:05, 27 May 2023 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

valereee, 331dot, I'm remorseful. I'm not going back to what I so-called did wrong. What do you want me to do, jump through hoops? Seriously, what am I suppose to do? I'm sick of this shit. I'm not good at this so called plead your case type of shit. Seriously. I've had it with those egotistical idiots on here. Wanted to be left alone back then and all I wanted was stay outstide of trouble and do my stuff quietly and not start shit with anyone on here. Was doing the wikiproject biography template as they wanted and I get banned and blocked for doing something right. Adamdaley (talk) 10:09, 27 May 2023 (UTC)

What we want to see is you promising you won't violate your topic ban again. This edit, where you explain why you violated it, saying I'm sorry. Things were not getting done so I had to step in. Things were not getting done. How can I ask for Things to be done and they have been ignored for countless months if not years? I'm sorry. is the root of the problem. Valereee (talk) 12:28, 27 May 2023 (UTC)
If you think the above statement and attitude helps you, it doesn't. 331dot (talk) 12:50, 27 May 2023 (UTC)
Valereee - I queried my unblocking process in January 2023 if my "topic ban" would remain and you've now answered it. 331dot - As for my so called "attitude", this is what I have to deal with the hardcore type of people. I never said it would help me, you did.
I want to be able to get my access back so I can keep my userpage up-to-date (like I have in the last few years except this year) and do something that I feel needs doing I'll do it without having to bother anyone else. If my access was given back, I'd put in "|military-work-group=yes|military-priority=low" and I'd add any attributes that were missing for the WP:MILHIST template for that article. You guys don't understand so how would you understand what I'm trying to say today, tonight or whenever it is for you. I was keeping on top of things and doing something I liked. Yet, I get my access taken away all because of some users who didn't like what I was doing while I was following the WP:Biography template as they wanted it done. Not done randomly entered. I was doing something that I enjoyed and the way it was suppose to be. I'm not talking about the moving of articles. I'm talking about the WikiProject templates especially that of WikiProject Biography and WikiProject MILHIST. So one again, Valereee, you've answered my query from January 2023, when I made it.
I was pretty much keeping on top of things and doing the WikiProject Biography the way the people who made the template done, I got into trouble. Yes, I should have asked about the moving of articles and now I see partly why I got what I got. As for the WP:MILHIST template, there are attributes that are missing depending on what is missing and I can't even do that due to everyone's ignorance that other users especially the Administration of Wikipedia has for not wanting things to be properly placed in the right categories.
I'm afraid, that ignorance hasn't improved any with whatever his username from last year who banned me for was it 6 weeks? I may not contribute to the size of articles or whatever. So talkpages has to do or even infoboxes being added as proven before my indefinite ban. Valereeee, you've destroyed my happiness of keeping up-to-date WikiProjects along with several administrative people and that user whoever she was who nominated me twice.
I guess I'll leave it at that. You can run a miserable organisation like this. since it's an American organisation, I have a freedom of speech to tell how this is effecting me personally with day-to-day things that have been still continuing like last year. Have a nice life, and destroying others happiness. Adamdaley (talk) 06:21, 28 May 2023 (UTC)
No, you have no free speech here on this privately operated website. Just as you can determine what is said and done in your residence, Wikipedia can determine what appears on its computers. You won't be unblocked to just edit your user page. If you want to be unblocked, you need to speak to violating your topic ban. If you didn't and an error was made, you should request unblock. If you don't wish to because you think we are miserable and have destroyed your happiness, that's unfortunate, but your choice. Good luck to you in your life. 331dot (talk) 07:32, 28 May 2023 (UTC)
Its true. Youre ignorant like everyone else on here. Just in denial, im afraid, this is done by public funding. Just want not want to be in this situation, any longer. I was following a WikiProject Template and I get blocked for that. Youre entitled to your opinion like i am with mine. Good luck in being homeless? Yeah thanks for that and wikipedia is still an American organization, no buts or ifs about it. Adamdaley (talk) 07:46, 28 May 2023 (UTC)
